The lazy writing is getting worse... you go assassinate and you'd bring a sword that reveals where you are from... just watching this for the romance... the rest is rather draggy and quite silly.
Watched the first episode... Lotsa wu xia vibe and I feel that romance is going to be minimised.... good for a change from the romance heavy period drama
I agree. While I enjoy the drama, advice is not to think too much and just be aesthetically pleased by the leads. On the convenience or simplicity though, I am still waiting for how the FL can develop in 10 years to what she is today and holding 30,000 marine soldier?

Same. I am watching it because of the the leads but the rest is just so-so. Hope they cover how the FL can become how she is today - with her background etc. seems just too farfetched. Probably just watch it as a fun and noneedtobeserious drama if it continues the same...
The story is really interesting and I like the FL, not the first drama I have seen her in. Unfortunately the ML is too inexperienced. Yes we should give newbies a chance etc... but he is just a bit awkward to watch. I can't really tell what he is trying to express. He only has the sad or frustrated look. It is a good watch nevertheless.
It is so funny... ML always gives FL false hopes.
The chemistry progression is okay as she was supposed to be cold hearted... gosh the pepper spray is so funny.
