I think if we don't look at it superficially, putting ourselves in their perspective after what they went through - it is easy to understand that she believes in him even though he treated her the way many think is unforgiveable. When they first got together and he doesn't want to marry her, the first think she thought is that he doesn't want to implicate her. She rather forget about the revenge than he risk his life.
It is the same this time, she trusts him no matter how he treated her. He warned her about the stepsister and when the stepsister started to work for her, he on purpose kicked up a fuss at her office to put up a show. For LAN I am watching it real fast as there are so many scenes and side couples that are rather useless LOL. ML is good though, and that is one of the top priorities in the dramas I like.... so completing it.
FIL is my favorite of the current ones I am watching. FL is super clever, daring and sweet... ML is super smart and sly... only thing I cannot really accept is how they met.
About getting tortured, I started Kdrama Happiness last evening and thought I should not continue lol.
