Most probably, the coach definitely cares more for ACE girl as he owes it to her brother. The scene at the bench, the coach had a weird look on his face when SZY said she'll try 1500m if the coach believes in her.

She is just inexperience and in fact thinks too lowly about herself. Anyway, even though the rest can see that SBS likes her, he kept "ensuring" her that he is treating her like this because of the contract. A girl like SZY will take his word. E.g. when he didn't like other guys to hang around her, he just explained to her that she has a contract with him and should act as if she is his gf.

This happens with this drama, remember the previous one about how the girl met the ML over pineapple steak? Who cares about that? I am probably more interested in PPAP.

The denial is okay but a bit too much/long. I still prefer Li Yubing and that one is 40 episodes though there was a large portion of it on the depression plot which I didn't like as well.

I was thinking along the same line before I read your comments. I somehow thought that if the SML dies and his father lives it'll be his karma... Since he mentioned he did all the nonsense because of his son.
