Watched ep. 1 and most of ep. 2, it started a bit over the top which is typical then it started to make sense and became quite interesting. I stopped at the part when the lead were having a meal and FL suddenly became careless.
Really, I've never noticed, lol. But I only watched him in 3 dramas. Which dramas he had the best hairstyle in?…
Young Blood has lotsa good reviews... for me it started well but "tried too hard" from a certain episode onwards. My threshold for illogical plots especially coincidences (e.g. bad guys appearing right place right time) is not that high so it didn't do so as well for me . Zhou Yutong in it was fantastic, and that was her best performance for me in a drama. Steven Zhang (besides the hair) was just okay, his best performance for me is still SIL.
I agree... don’t know much about skating, but IMO it ’s kinda weird that they let him do the solo skating…
FL's interest towards the coach is definitely more of admiration or gratitude more than anything. Treats him like an mentor so she can easily hug him when she won (if it was other feelings she wouldn't have hugged him based on her character). But XQ tried to smoke this to condition her to think of it as something more which is really shameless. And she wants ML to concentrate on his training without distractions? So now she really is his coach, or his mom? Yeah she can pursue SBS but she is really smart to know that she'll fail fair and square... so she have to remove all barriers in order to succeed.
I think the angst just for dramatization has always been around, but lately some of the shows are really full of that... Rebirth For You, gosh is a really bad one - I have a feeling you are referring to this one.
I am not sure what the writers are thinking... probably the viewer that does matter like to watch this type of nonsense - and we are the minority.
I really want to like Mo Yan for Zhang Huiwen, but the inconsistency in her behavior makes me frustrated. With…
The flaming heart was so bad, likewise I dropped Legend of Fei though she was not the FL... so I was a bit wary... After the first episode and I confirmed my doubts.
Apart from the girl in Forever Love, all Chinese FL's I've come across are irritating.Edit: Girl from Falling…
Unfortunately in Cdramas the FL are often made childish, weak, clumsy, whiny and requires protection from all the male characters around her. Some even rude and uncouth etc. I remember almost dropping "Skate Into Love" at the start of the first episode, cos the FL farted in the bus...

She hasn't done anything harmful? What is considered harmful? Does she really think that the FL and her brother will make a good match? She knows the FL is somehow interested, but what about the brother? Isn't she just making use of this interest to steer the FL away from the ML, without thinking of the consequences? If the brother is not interested, and apparently just using his position to manipulate the girls - wouldn't it harm the FL if she poured her feelings into it? Just because of the childish selfish thoughts, just like "helping" the ML - is she really helping him of just getting near him? She is not a coach?
I think a lot of these scenes bring nothing to the development of the drama and we see it so often.
Being together at ep. 22 is quite slowly by normal standards tbh.

I think his hair is best in "Skate Into Love"... His hairstyle in Huckleberry Friends, Young Blood and Symphony's Romance is so horrible. .. even he complained about it.

You are so right. She is just a 2-face which is the worse kind. The FL won't even know how she got set up if this continues. Hopefully the FL or her bestie discovers what she is up to and steer clear from her. Her making use of being the partner to get close to ML was already a warning sign, and acting cool even though she knows ML doesn't date his partners. Just shows how she can put up a front.
The bro, what was that reaction when he returned the sketch book to FL? I skipped that part after I saw for a moment conceit on his face. On manipulating the girls to be support, I am glad the HOD engaged ML's mom as the new head coach. Now the team is united as compared to being a one person team. After the FL won, instead of being with the team, he goes to see the fave girl? Now the team believes in the head coach more, which is a good thing.
The figure-skating team seems to have only one coach who previously coached the ML when he was doing doubles. So now he suddenly detach himself after the ML turn solo? If he can only coach doubles, there must be single figure skaters in the team so he/she must have a coach too? This part just doesn't make sense.

Fake Ms Mu doesn't have the money/brains/status... wonder how helpful she can be. Hope it doesn't turn out to be too far-fetched just for the sake of contents.
