You miss out on good shows if you drop them too early before giving them a chance.
I dunno, I probably put it on hold until more episodes released and reviewed as a good show. I completed "Lovers of the red sky" which started ok and later episodes had the same feel as the first episode of this one.
Caught the first episode last, the starting storytelling part was more interesting than the rest, the kids are really adorable and did a really good job. Besides that too much time spent on the set up and I almost fell asleep hoping for them to grow up quick and get into the main story. Then it came at the end; from a rather serious set up to a rather duh meet up... dropped.
He father knows that the stepsister is the daughter of the pawn shop dude, and this guy was his deputy. He is definitely behind this to control Shanghai and take away the power from ML's dad.
Yeah she wanted to get the urn back, as well as take the place of the SML.
Yes you are right, and it depends on the perspective. Generally, she made herself a better reason to be held hostage claiming to be the fiancée as well as the richest man's daughter. With that her dad will also try to convince and also contribute to the army making it easier for them to make the telegram. However, even if the SML is taken hostage still the telegram will be made eventually I think... but not the urn and the connection to the richest man.
ML got caught unware by the little daring FL lol
