LOL, yes that is the main culprit... That brand is available in your Country (Unless you are from China)? They have it in Falling Into You Smile as well but not as much as TDOBY.

I did not watch either since YAMG is her first drama for me, TLB I caught 5 mins probably? I think it is still okay to have lipstick since it doesn't disrupt the flow... she didn't suddenly dismount a horse to apply lipstick right? LOL

In YAMG it is very obvious she is promoting Clarins (I am not sure if it is the same brand for TLB and LD), but then I didn't spot any too deliberate actions to promote it.

After they really got together, just one episode that the FL wanted a break up because she didn't want the ML to remember the accident because of her. He didn't agree until he remembered the accident and agreed - but this time the FL disagreed and wanted to help him get over it. So end of ep 22 to start of ep 23 they suddenly got together again.

Not only Cdramas, likewise for Kdramas... In Racket Boys (Kdrama) there is actually this health drink product placement, so the actors actually drank it and said it was good and look into the screen as well it was really an advertisement - then the other character ask who they are looking at. It was quite funny.

That is why sometimes I prefer period dramas, they can't place modern products in them.

I tried Lakorns many years back... I managed to finished a couple and like you mentioned they are too much. I'll probably have much lesser hair if I continued watching... LOL

Exactly... One of the main plots (the accident) and the build up to it, we were all guessing who did it etc... then suddenly a business rival (I don't even know who) did everything so the ML can be released from all guilt, just a scene with 4-5 lines? I was like "duh?".

Not looking forward to the heartbreak, but kinda looking forward to the regret :)

It is not a problem with me as long as it doesn't affect the flow of the drama. Check out the recent Cdramas even the popular ones - the product placement is disgusting. The characters suddenly promoting some titbits being healthy , visiting the store etc... it is just so weird and irritating. I actually like it in YAMG as it is an actual advertisement (with the FL's bestie Pei Pei) slotted in, so I can just skip it without missing any part of the show.

I was holding on a bit just because ML is so handsome and FL was actually quite cute in the beginning... Then she became as you said - but it is typical of Cdrama FL, they always make them dumb and has to be protected.

LOL, my mom's staple - Taiwanese/Korean Soap (on channel U?)... not sure if she'd venture into Larkorns like your mom. All the lengthy and heavy stuff haha...

Thanks for the the info, his salary is really low. Based on the salary scale you researched he would have earned 4-5 times what he is earning now if he went into investment banking (in the drama they were mentioning he could have gotten at least RMB1m per annum).

It's nice to see ML have taste of his own medicine, so he knows it wasn't easy for FL to do all those things for him in the first place. Looking forward to these episodes as he pursues FL. :)
