SF1 was a masterpiece . SF2 was also good but Iād rather see her explore other genres than write another season…
Season 1 definitely was her best work thus far. While I appreciate the idea as an artist of trying one's hand at new things, the experience as a viewer isn't great for me. As a viewer I'm less interested in her explorations if they don't result in good television to me. Anh GilHo is another example as the director of season 1. I'd say he's had good work for the most part after like Watcher, Happiness, and Memories of Alhambra. But Record of Youth for example was a pretty hard miss. A different genre (slice of life romance) which just didn't match his style and unfortunately was not a great show in my opinion.
This one honestly just isn't as good as her other works. Crime thriller is her better category. No harm in trying to break out, but I think it's pretty clear from this versus her other work.. Waiting for season 3 of Secret Forest. I didn't even know this was Lee Sooyeon's writing until later. Just feels disjointed for me.
I would love to see this!!! Sounds like it would be in the vein of Watcher, which I think Kangjoonie EXCELLED at that kind of serious role! I can hardly wait!! I hope he takes it ><
I am too hype for this pairing! I love them both! He was excellent in Lies Within! Nana was fantastic in Into the Ring! I think the chemistry will be fireworks! Let's gooo!!!!!
this was originally set to air dec 2020 right? i hope it doesnt get further delayed. guess ill just have to wait until 2021 to see cho seungwoo in this
To answer your question of "why is it like this and not like that?" well basically it's because this drama is…
Interesting. I didn't know the back story. However, that has very little to do with the success fulness of this script. Whether or not the story is a true story, doesn't make it a good story or wellwritten story. Nor did the script writers apparently transform it into a good series. It's highly lacking in the storytelling aspect on the show. I haven't read the book so I don't know whether that is lacking as well or whether the show is an accurate portrayal of the writer's narrative ability or not. If all that you said is the case, it should be in the show. Viewers/readers shouldn't have to learn the back story in order to ascertain interest in something. I feel the plot failed on many levels. Based on what you've stated, apparently more than I'd originally thought since those aspects weren't even explored in the story.
Ooh, never seen this before. I'll add to my list.. I really want to like Ayano Gou after loving him in Saiko no Rikon, but almost every movie I've seen him in since has been a huge disappointment... especially since he's so cute. Idk, I feel like I haven't seen him in the right role yet. I liked him okay in Bride of Wip Van Winkle, which Kuroki Haru also played in funnily. Here's to checking out something else from him. I really think he'd be suited for a character with a troubled past and who is self conscious. I guess that's the kind of role I want to see from him, hmm.
this was bland. i really like kora kengo, but I feel he' snever being used to his full potential. i don't think I've seen him in a fully realized role ever.
Episode 7 was so sad. I shed actual tears watching that wow. I really felt sad for Makita. That could've been a plot for a show on it's own. I really liked the actor for him, Yamashita Koji. Gotta check more of his stuff out.
