Just chiming in to say, you hit the nail on the head with your comment! That's my issue with it as well. It's just one turn after another, which causes the next one to kind of lose its spin and impact. Moreso in recent episodes. Makes the hardships look commonplace and we get too used to it.

Looks like I'm not the only one feeling like this plot is just dragging its feet along. I really like the lead actors and their performances so far. The plot though is just sorta boring...

Nana is really good in her role! She is seriously a great actor! However, the writing is really bad. I feel sorry that this is the kind of role she gets, especially since her previously scheduled drama got canceled since the production company failed to pay everyone. I hope that her skills in this will lead to being cast in a properly written show after this! She definitely has the skill and is also super beautiful.

Haha! I think Tae Soo will likely get redemption by the end of the show, since his mother seems to be the real problem. At least I hope so. Jo Jang Poong hasn't really ever gotten him in line yet, so I think that might be one of his goals as a teacher.

I love this show so far! Super cute, and I love his two former classmates, they are like his lil squad!

No problem! Yeah it took some years to get here, but honestly, even after two years, if you study frequently, you can watch most stuff without subs! Better late than never!

I just did! It was... interesting to say the least. Personally, I was a little disappointed with the overall plot, once everything got revealed. I'm not even sure what the point of all the mannequins were, other than the fact that Kishinaka was delusional about his wife, and Midori took advantage of that fact. Also, I think that they used that as a convenient plot filler to ramp up the suspense, since it was hard to tell where everything was going until the last two episodes. Why even did Midori want to have Amemura's child specifically? I get that Minae was pregnant before she died, but why did Midori want Amemura instead of Kikuchi or Minae's husband? That part kind of didn't make sense to me, and I felt the plot points overall were kind of willy-nilly. In the end, I think the main lessons they wanted to teach with this show were about greed and death and how those two things can cause something to spiral out of control, but, hmmm...... I wish that had been a more central idea since the beginning. Overall it was okay though, slightly disappointed by Haruma Miura's performance, cus I want to see him do something other than his typical stoic ikemen performance. It sure was a different show by the end than what it seemed like in the first episode, so that was pretty interesting! What are your thoughts?

Okay, watched ep 2 just now. This drama is really sad. Ono Machiko really is a great actress. I love the narration too, by the detective. it really drives home the lonely feeling. I feel really sorry for Yoko.

Yeah, but didn't they say already last ep that he was the actual one who hit her car? It's really crazy tho, idk what's going on haha! I just think that maybe, Shinsuke had some sort of connection to her before the accident.

Woah, just watched it now! That was crazy! So I'm guessing that maybe her husband created some sort of technology? Like some sort of cyborg system with his mannequins, but for whatever reason Shinsuke stole? or took it and hid it in his house. That might explain why only he was attacked and the bad things happening to Narumi. Maybe there was some sort of plan, but he Ejima wanted to do something else with the stolen thing than what Shinsuke wanted to do. That's why Shinsuke not being part of the plan now is better. Haha, idk just playing a guessing game here now. This got interesting this ep though, now I'm super curious what will happen!

I would say, the worst part about his going to the "soapland" and continuously cheating, was the fact that we are given no guarantee that he has stopped. For all we know, he still goes. I agree. It would have been better for Kumiko to refuse him from the start, but she seemed to just let everything flow around her while drifting like some lost log. They would have been better off not getting together. Their communication is still bad even until the end. I just wondered, what is the point?

Hmm, idk, I'm thinking the whole "yuurei" thing is just due to his confusion on the entire situation. He can't remember what truly happened, and in the preview, she has him chained up for some reason. I think she is a crazy lady but I think she's actually there. Other people saw her too. Maybe she is the wife and someone else died in her place/the body was switched. I actually think she's a twin or something though. Also, other than the mannequins in the shop window occasionally moving their eyes, it looks like they aren't mentioning the mannequin the guy made that looks like his wife anymore.

I'm going to go ahead and put this out there for those who don't know and/or would rather be warned. There are 2 sex scenes in episode 2. No full nudity shown (they're both topless in one but his hand is over her nipples) but there is lots of thrusting... for lack of a better word. Pretty clear sex scene. I was kind of surprised, didn't expect something graphic like that, though the accident at the beginning of ep one was graphic too. Just a heads up for those who'd like to avoid/be warned. Not a spoiler to any plot though.
