Thanks for posting this drama I submitted! Liking it so far, always wish the eps were longer though! The first season of this really made me like Tsubasa Honda. I hope some parts of season 1 are resolved in this, but we'll see since it's only 5 episodes long.
Literally like 5 mins in but this seems great! Love Suda-kun! Also, the "taisou" the teachers did was hilarious (no worries, not a spoiler, literally happens in the first 10 minutes and not important). Super curious to see where this leads!
If you like Gakki, you can try watching Soratobu Kouhoushitsu, My Boss My Hero, Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku, Papa…
Thanks! Actually, it seems I have seen her but didn't remember or recognize her. I've watched My Boss My Hero (super funny!!) didn't even know she was in it. I will check out some of the others! Thanks again!
May I ask where are you watching this drama? Other then kissasian, I don’t like when they have a lots of bad…
I don't watch with English subs. I can't say the site on here cus I don't want it taken down. Idk where you can find the eng subs though. If you want to watch it without subs, if you google it in japanese you can find it.
The plagiarism thing must've ended already cus I've watched until the ending and season 2 is currently airing. I didn't watch from amazon prime tho lol, so idk about there. It's aired in Japan already now though.
As for this drama, it’s extremely cute and made me really come to like Honda Tsubasa! I knew her name but never her acting. She's really excellent in this type of character role. Hilarious and has her character down to the most minute movements! I really respect her acting! Most people might struggle with this kind of sort of "dunce" type character, making it believable, but also likable and at times quite insightful.
This drama is very good so far! Loving the light pushes and pulls between Kousei and Akira. Also, Akira's boss is the bestttt! The ep where he barked at her was just too hilarious! The humor is on point but not overwhelming, and I will def keep a watch out for that actor from now on. Matsuda acts exactly how his character looks, so it's very on the nose, and I enjoy it a lot! This is also my first time watching Gakky, so I'm pleasantly surprised, she's very cute but not definitely not overly so or blandly stupid. Will keep an eye out for the writer as well.
Thanks for adding my suggestion! I'm super excited for this title! I actually found out about it because IMDB lists director Diao Yinan as a cast, so I'm hoping to see how it turns out! Still got a while to wait though haha.
I hope Kai talks more in later episodes. I wasn't impressed with him in Andante, he seemed very unsure of himself. I hope he is better in this. I'm picking it up because I'm on a jdrama roll >:)
My favorite characters as of ep 4 in order from most favorite to least are : Nakamura, Shion, Tsubasa, Ami, Mizuki, and Yuudai. Yuudai is kind of annoying so far. Tsubasa is the most obviously likeable because she is laid back. But maybe too laid back. She doesn't have much personality now other than being generally agreeable. I didn't like Nakamura at first, but seeing how caring he was to Yuudai made him my favorite person. He seems the most geniunely expressive and sympathetic. Shion is very straight-forward and honest so far, which is refreshing. He is on par with Nakamura and would likely be my favorite if he was on screen more. He actively tries to talk and connect with all members on a deeper than surface level, which is nice. Contrary to most opinion on the net so far, I don't dislike Ami. I think she is just working to figure herself out and is a little awkward because of it. But I agree with many of her opinions. Mizuki is cute (she introduced herself first name only to everyone lol) and seems also quite straightforward and reasonable (the whole businesswoman thing), and though she works from home it seems, she isn't on film much. I assume this is due to the fact that she is working all the time therefore not interacting with anyone. I'm actually hoping for a romantic line between her and Nakamura. Yuudai is likeable in some aspects but mostly annoying. His youth is not really an excuse, he simply just is very immature and prefers to be that way, though he says he wants to change. We will see how it all plays out in the future episodes. I hope none of the members leave soon, but I foresee Tsubasa leaving after her hockey tournament ends. She might be the first member to leave, as it doesn't seem she wants to be romantically involved with anyone, though Shion is interested in her. I hope they get together.
Very underrated actor! I hope he gets a lead role soon! Watching him in Prison Playbook now, but also saw him in Fight for My Way and Tomorrow with You.
My favorite Korean snack is sigeumchi namul! I like it spicy with gochujang! Super tasty with mixed rice that has black rice in it! I like making these things myself using recipes online! I would love to try some more yummy snacks from Korean Snacks Box!! :D
