In their defense Jiu Ying is a dragon with nine heads and he's way older than them. Obviously WYi will sacrifice herself because she has the most fragment of Jiu Ying in her, and I believe they can't defeat Jiu Ying without killing LWY. Jiu Ying already sealed her fate from the very moment he created her. SG needs to get the last of the dragon deity's powers and go through a phase and whatnot in order to fully become the dragon deity, and in the trailer I saw a ring on his finger, it was quite different from the one JL wore. Plus I think there's a sword that can kill Jiu Ying for good and only SG can wield it.

I said this earlier to a comment. WSG and WWY feel like NPCs to me with no definite storyline. After the illusion arc it's like GJM just completely forgets about them and their emotional depth. WSG in the beginning without 3/4 of the dragon deity's powers and just his twelve thoughts bead took on two foxes and got the best of them but the WSG of now with 3/4 of the dragon deity's powers and his twelve thoughts beads is nothing to write home about imo..

Tragedy keeps striking like Bai Ze' lightening. It is JiLu' turn for now, whose turn would it be next? Oh dear lightening, I look forward to your next delicious strike.

As for WuWu, I refuse to delude myself into thinking that they would have a happy ending because like you said we still have upcoming episodes to go and if those episodes are more focused on WSG and his dragon duties then I can bet my last penny that tragedy is going to strike them like Bai Ze' lightening.

WSG just wants to complete his mission and be done with all these drama but it may seem as though the drama isn't done with WSG, not yet.

It's not even about playing favourites and screentime at this point. GJM at the very beginning of the series made so many fuss about dragon this and dragon that and we're yet to see anything worthwhile about Mr dragon this and that.

Though people who are upset about the screentime are well within their right to feel that way. Nobody wants to see their favs completely sidelined in a project. Thank God I don't have a favourite in this project because as a neutral viewer of all of GJM' projects, he has always been like this so I ain't surprised.

He obviously doesn't hate her. Just like how WWY keeps suspecting JL, WSG is also suspecting LWY. If I were in his shoes I'd definitely feel the same way about LWY. Remember we're the watchers so we see and understand LWY' motives but WSG doesn't, he came there to get his powers and LWY is hindering him from completing his said mission so of course he'll feel a certain way about her. And besides LWY is an unreliable narrator to everybody involved at this point. I wouldn't trust someone I don't know either especially a fox.

I just want to be done with this time travel, it is painful, sad and messy. Let's move forward to defeating Jiu Ying because at this point I believe Jiu Ying orchestrated all these just to buy time 💔😭

I thought since we were already out of the illusion(I say we because we were all in on the experience), that after we find out JL past, we'd move forward to drafting out plans on how to kill Jiu Ying? But they still don't even have a plan and even if they do have a plan it's definitely not a solid one.

He still Isn't a true dragon even after collecting 3/4 of the dragon deity's powers??? If he isn't a true dragon now then even after collecting 4/4 of the power he still wouldn't become a true dragon.

A big facade, GJM may or may not know what to do with the dragon storyline because at this point it's not clocking.
