Oh I don't mind the bullying theme in the show. I just think its odd that somehow some users are denying that…
I don’t disagree but I think we should allow the characters to develop first. At least this shows that the first episode garnered interest whether it be good or bad. But we also have to for the characters to develop they still have time for redemption

I’m definitely not saying it isn’t bullying but we don’t know where this is going… maybe he’ll change and see what he’s doing is fucked up and become a better person. Maybe he won’t… we are only in episode 1!
Some of you really need to take a chill pill and relax!!! Y’all are all up in arms over a fictional show! I hope that you guys are this vocal when you see it happening around you instead of just going wild over characters that aren’t even real. It’s also fair to mention that art often imitates life and sometimes we see shows that depict negative realities. It’s tough to watch but it happens. It’s up to us, the viewer, to say “I don’t think this is for me therefore I won’t watch it”. But I’m sure most of you complaining still will watch it… which make all the fuss pointless, really. So just enjoy it and let the show play out. Life is too short to get worked up over something like this.
It’s so interesting to see new people who just watched this drama for he first time calling this drama bald/boring… like if you had been around back in 2018 you’d see why this drama was so ground breaking for its story, acting, chemistry, and dealing with social issues. Sure it had its flaws… but what Thai BL show doesn’t? This was. Stepping stone for all other shows to come after. Most of the toxicity came from Kingkla and No… and fans complained about the half-baked story of TinCan… but this was a problem in Thai BL’s at the time which crammed too many couples that they couldn’t resolve. But other than that AePete’s chemistry and relationship was SOLID! It was a step in the right direction and it developed slowly and naturally. Of course we had dramas like Sotus that focused more on character development which at the time was also a game changer. But Sotus was still using the “I’m straight but only gay for you” trope. This was the first time we got to tackle LGBT+ issues such as bullying, consent, sexual exploration, and coming out. Idk about you all but I still cry every time I see Pete’s coming out scene to him mom. Also Ae’s path of self-discovery not knowing what his feelings for Pete were and being scared and confused by them. And also Pete realizing what a non-toxic relationship should look like. Their intimate scene were also very well-filmed and directed. That locker scene!!
So I didn’t hate or love the first episode of this series…. So far it’s just there. I usually love Mark’s acting but honestly I think the cast who plays his friends are stiff and thus really mellows out Mark’s acting… not to mention how he barely had any lines and most of the dialogue between Aek and Aue were just long stares. It kind of reminds me of the first 2moons series which I felt had the same issue.
I will say though… when Aek’s characters went to visit his mom in Nan that when everything changed and the acting elevated x100! Especially the flashback scenes with the grandmother where Aek and her would cook together. That’s where the plot and character motivations really made themselves known and the cinematography was really gorgeous! I think it also helps that the actresses who played the mom and grandmother were awesome actors!
Finally, the chemistry between the two mains doesn’t seem all that there yet. I know it’s the first episode but usually you feel some sort of spark… but I didn’t get much impo. I also find it odd that it only takes one instance of Aek smelling one ingredient for Aue to trust him to work in his kitchen… I feel like there should have been more instances but I guess we will see that as the episode progress. I don’t have the highest hopes but I will keep watching.
Game was playing Porsché(Che), Porsche( Played by Apo Nattawin) younger brother. Beer was casted as Big (if I’m…
Damn I understand if they were support roles but Game as Porsche is an important one and ruins the original trailer which got everyone hyped! Any word on re-castings? I was also looking forward to Green as I feel in love with him after that one scene in Lovely Writer
So was the reason the girls played so badly was because they were actually undercover agents for the opposing mafia? Lol. It was so bad and they still clapped… I was so confused if I was just not musically inclined enough or if they were just being nice lol
So I’m actually really enjoying it so far. Sure they are giving us every trope they can throw at us but that doesn’t make it bad… at least for me. The hand wash with the wet towel when your hubby is sick is CLASSIC Thai BL… Honestly Sometimes I wonder if Thai people do this to one another when they have a fever. He really had to wash his ding dong and the sound affect is too much! Lol. The cast are all pretty good actors especially Gun and Boat! Boat has this smoldering look on his face that just makes me weep and Gun’s child-like cuteness and pouty lips make just does something to me! I do wanna mention though the side girls who are always there as damsels in distress… they are just kinda wasted characters I think and kinda take up more screen time than I would like 😂. I also hope they give Pitch and bank some development they are super cute!
Ok so my expectations for this drama was low because when I saw the trailer it came off as overacted and then I read that it only has 8 episodes. But I decided to watch because I loved Gun in LBC so I was excited to see him in a new series!
I have to say I absolutely ADORED the first episode. Sure it has your regular young master/bodyguard troupes but isn’t that what we came to see??? And I just have to say that Gun is actually a really good actor! His ability to act in comedic scenes seems fluid and always lands…. The opening scene made me think this might be a serious drama but the minute Gun’s character Sky came in I was instantly engaged and entertained by his bratty yet absentminded demeanor. He’s so funny! As for Boat, this is my first time seeing him in a drama and I’m already in love! He reminds me of Sousuke Sagara from an anime I love called Full Metal Panic as it’s almost the same idea. His expressions are cool calm and collected and his fight scenes are well choreographed! All in all a great start! Can’t wait for the next episode!
When I saw that Ken from lovely writer was gonna be in a BL with a boy pairing I nearly fell back on my chair. I was in love with him in lovely writer but I didn’t feel him and Tiffy. I wanted him to have a boy all of his own 😭
It’s been a couple month’s since the drama ended and I just wanna say that I’m still in awe that this was Mix’s first big role! His performance was Oscar worthy!
