You are a 100% right. I work in this field and this is so totally wrong. Dr. Nam would absolutely be put on a…
I was making a comment on his actions versus the realism. I’m not saying I hate that it happened I’m just pointing out that it did and I’m just salty about it is all. But that’s just cuz I’m into the show and I get emotionally invested when a character does an action that I feel merits conversations
Ok I loved this episode but I just want to ask... . Anyone else upset at Dr. Nam for breaching Doctor / patient confidentiality??? Like he used his own resources as a doctor to pry into Tian’s medical history and then told chief PhuPha about it knowing well and good that the chief is a hot-head and then acted all surprised like what DID YOU THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN DR NAM ?
Everyone's already said it, but the drunk bed scene was beautiful. The lighting and the tension between Nubsib…
Yes that drunk scene was beautiful and I have to give props to the dir creator and cinematographer because the shots of Nubsib was pure art! How the camera focused on bus face, his soft facial expressions, his veiny manly hands softly touching genes face and shoulders. Like wow!
I really liked ep. 4 and I just want to point out that I think Tum is a good friend to Gene... even though some of his solo scenes were a bit over the top like the bathroom scene. Lol. Also that hand cream scene WTFFFFFFFF!!!! And omg the way Nubsib touches and holds Gene like am i the only one who can feel it through the screen??? ?
Wow finally the rating is going back up! I liked ep. 3 a lot and it’s very entertaining to watch! Also Up and Kao look awesome together and even the side cast is easy in the eyes. Is it as deep and throat provoking as 1000 stars...no... but that’s because it’s a different genre and aims to tell a different story. Not that I’m comparing the two but I think a lot of people forget how far we’ve come in terms of plot and even acting and I would say the comparison is both 1000 stars and Lovely Writer are a move in the right direction.
I would say that I found the second episode less obnoxious than the first. I still don't like all the cutesy music…
I loved the kiss so much! I just hope they explain what happened immediately after... did he just run away and say something like “ I need to write” cuz he suddenly feels inspired.... but it was a nice ending and kiss scene.
Y’know I’m not bothered by the music and sound affects that much but I will say that it is noticeable when you compare the score to Saymork/Ay’s score. Also, the guy who plays Ay is actually good at acting and is really selling his role impo.
I’d also like to see more of Hin as he has more development by himself than Tum and Tiffy has together lol
Just a note, if you want to post something that might contain spoilers, it’s best to mark it as spoiler
Thanks for the tip but I did it this way because when I mark it as spoiler and people skip right past it and I’m trying to invite conversation. I personally don’t think I spoiled anything but some people just want to completely know nothing until they have seen the episode for themselves. That’s the reason I put “minor spoilers” cuz my thoughts, how every vague or elusive they are, may change the tone of the episode for some. But I will be more conscious moving forward.
Just a thought ! Gene is not clear too though. He is also in a way "using" Nubsib to have inspiration for his…
That’s a great thought as well. Obviously Gene doesn’t feel used because he definitely likes looking at Nubsib in a sexual way especially in the shirtless scene. I’m just wondering if he realizes and is in denial or is he unaware of his feelings. And what do you think Nubsib’s deal is? Maybe he’s a huge fan? Maybe one day we will find his shrine of Gene’s books and photos? Lol
***Warning: this is long and may contain minor spoilers of ep. 2***
Ok so I have a few thoughts and I’m gonna break it down with each couple. But before I start I just want to say that I really liked ep. 2 and I’m really liking this series so far... I can see the influence of this director as he also did TharnType and I see at lot of similarities mainly with the main couple... so here it goes:
Nubsib/Gene: They have phenomenal chemistry and you can honestly tell that even though Gene is a loner that he likes Nubsib’s presence more than he likes to admit... but at the same time as the viewer it can be a bit jarring as Nubsib comes off as sort of almost borderline manipulative and calculated as we all can tell there is more than meets the eye and he knows things about Gene like how much jam he likes on his toast and walks around the apartment shirtless and asks Gene if he basically likes what he sees... which is very odd which reminds me a bit of the dynamic in TharnType where Type was still obviously against gay people but Tharn still insisted on making moves on him by playing mind games... it makes for cute writing in a drama but this definitely wouldn’t fly irl. Lol. But I will say that the ending scene was AMAZING! I honestly couldn’t breath! Anyway... I hope Nubsib’s true intentions will be revealed later in the series... it’s almost as if he’s one of Gene’s characters come to life and is there to inspire him. Maybe it’s all in Gene’s head... who knows!
Saymork/Ay: Now this storyline has really caught my interest as you can tell that what is going on with Ay has some underlying mental health issue and I like how the tone shifts when focusing on this paring even when it comes to the music, dialogue, and how they even stop using the notorious sound effects. Lol. I was especially interested in the sene with Saymork and that mysterious girl and how they talked about Ay. I’m very interested to see where that goes.
Tum/Tiffy: I’m sorry to all my heteros in here but this storyline is BORING. There really is nothing to it and it’s super one-dimensional so far. Their storyline is that they are both managers who both happen to fall in love and that’s really it... that whole sence with the make up was sort of a waste of screen time as it added nothing to the story. Impo.
All in all I’m liking this series and am sucked in! What do you all think?
