Damn thank you for this comment, it made me laugh so hard man. The actors are very popular at the moment especially Xiao zhan. His actually the reason I'm watching it but this is because I've never seen him in a proper romance role so I was highly anticipating it. But to be honest this drama would not be popular if the 2 leads weren't ZX and yang zi.
Im so happy with the first episode even if it drags in the future, the romance between the leads is enough. I'm also proud of Xiao Zhan for showing us what a flexible actor he is, he fits into his romance role so well. One thing I love about XZ shows is how dedicated he is to his roles, boring or not it just makes his shows worth watching.
the fact that this show made me such a hard Xiao Zhan fan when I was one of those people who thought this show was not only overhyped but so was Xiao Zhan. I watched this two years ago, unfortunately, I didn't finish it but it had me hooked for 28 episodes straight. Also two years later I'm cursed with the obsession of being zhans fan, now I can't help but root for him in every new show he does!!

The acting is top-notch the scenery is great and what I love the most is what a pure Korean drama this is. Sure it wasn't perfect but it held my attention. One minute you're sobbing and the next, you're laughing. The relationships the storyline and the ability to make the viewer feel what they feel, it's just such a beautiful show.
woah I have to say Xiao zhans acting has really improved, like you can tell the difference its excellent. Its nice to see him in a more mature role considering how much I loved him in the untamed.
At this rate, it feels like they're never going to release this drama, and honestly it makes my heart so sore because I was really looking forward to seeing xiao zhan in full romance action!
I haven't watched this drama as yet but it seems really enjoyable judging from the trailer and the chemistry between the leads looks so smooth, don't know why people are posting such bad comments I mean Novoland pearl eclipse, for example, I haven't seen one bad review yet this a drama I couldn't seem to enjoy myself even the romance was a slight let down but is it so highly rated because its a big budget with well-known stars? If this drama had the same storyline, with yang mi acting exactly as the FL in heart of loyalty, I wonder if the comments would be different.
The only historical kdrama that has not disappointed me for 2021! I've tried the red sky and king's affection and dropped both, bassam steal the fate was good although I didn't finish it. I'm just in love with the red sleeve and the leads so far. Such a god storyline and I'm looking forward to the romance!
I love how well the mystery is done in this drama, I've watched 10 eps thus far and it is probably one of my best dramas. I wish kdramas like this would get international recognition. What stood out the most was the acting, seriously A plus acting! the chemistry between the leads is mindblowing even without romance. sometimes I avoid this drama because of how emotional and teary-eyed it makes me but I'm glad they add some comedy to it!

I look forward to it every week, sure I skip a lot that's because I wish they would cut all those annoying dragging scenes out like I just want to see the fl and ml and the children that's it!! I see this drama has high ratings and a lot of positive reviews but honestly, I'm currently skipping watching this. The acting and cinematography are great, its a high-budget drama but I feel like the story lacks passion or something is just missing. I was a little disappointed with the romance thus far, the chemistry is fine but again something is missing and I feel like the romance could have been done better maybe the censorship thing was blocking them? I don't usually watch dramas for romance alone but it is usually a huge factor for me when comes to Chinese historical dramas.
