Surprisingly entertaining despite being overdramatic and having a bad plot. It seems like every episode moves one step forward and two steps backwards but it is enjoyable enough for one episode a day.
Its been a while since I watched this drama and I like Jiro but all I can remember from this drama is the interactions between Cyndi and her five brothers.
Thought that this movie dealt with the supernormal at first when I read the synopsis but I turned out to be wrong. Pretty good movie and worth a catch.
Finished the show and i found it a good watch overall! There were lovely and touching moments where I really couldn't stop myself from sobbing at the screen. It's pretty draggy at the start which made me put the drama on hold for about a year but when I started again, I couldn't stop myself from finishing it in one sitting!
I want to watch it for Lee Wei & Xiao Xiao Bin (aka Wen Benny- cutest kid)
I watched this raw at sugoideas.com! Yes, I almost couldn't recognised Xiao Xiao Bin when he first appeared, I must say that I thought Lee Wei looked so much better without his long hair here though :) I won't say that it's a drag but the drama goes at a pretty slow pace.. Haven't watched a couple of the new episodes though, so I'm not too sure either haha
This series was really disappointing. The drama itself wasn't too bad but the plot is old and at some point it feels like it's just the same thing happening over and over again but it's not draggy till the point it's unbearable. I started this drama because of the reviews that said this is a story of an 'amazing strong woman' but watching this whole series just made me feel that this was a capable woman ruined by her stubbornness and inability to not let her feelings interfere with her actions. She was capable but she probably would not have survived if not for others pulling strings and all to help her. I felt like it was a scam, she managed to reach this far only cause she was more lucky than the rest and she wasn't really a 'hero'.
I was crying so, so hard when I thought Shishi died in the last episode... only to find out she didn't at the very end. What a cheat of my feelings and tears! But it's good :-)
I liked this drama but the amount of deaths is crazy. And it's not just bad guys that die, loads of the good characters you grow attached to die too (especially towards the end....... urgh!) and it doesn't have a 'happy ending' so if you mind, don't bother watching this. It was a great melodrama, sorrowful and all. I found myself frowning a lot watching this drama. I thought that after all this shit they dealt me with, there would at least be a happy ending but I was so wrong!!! Overall, it's worth a catch if you don't mind sad stories with sadder endings :)
