I second Love O2O and Eternal Love! I wouldn't recommend Love Through A Millenium though, especially for those who watched and loved Queen In Hyun's Man. Even though I'm an avid chinese drama watcher, that fell flat for me. I think Queen In Hyun's Man was too good. So if you delve into the world of Chinese dramas with this particular drama, you might feel underwhelmed.
Thanks for the article. I think this theme is in demand cause half of us all had some sort of crush on a teacher back in school. But we never acted on it so we wonder, what is it like for these people who did? Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Did you watch it with Eng subs? If yes, do share the link. Thanks!!
The official channel for Go Fighting is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/kankanews (I don't have access to season 1 here though, i can only view season 2 & 3 w subs here)

This looks like it's filmed in the early 2010s. They were still talking about Iphone 4 in it... And this looks even earlier than Yang Yang from Tiny Times 1.0 (which aired in 2014).
I'm so excited for this. I'm almost done with the novel (I'm forcing myself to slow down because I can't bear to bring an ending to such a good story... I'm in love with so many of the characters!) While I liked Dili Reba, I'm glad that Sophie Zhang is casted as Su Mu Cheng. She fits very well with the Su Mu Cheng that I imagined. Perhaps because in all the other dramas of Dili Reba that I watched (as well as the variety show, Keep Running), she was a tad too noisy and boyish for the Su Mu Cheng in my imagination. Can't wait for the release!
He's really not handsome but I fell for his performance in An Innocent Mistake. Even though I supported the other male character (whom the female lead supposedly likes more), his performance made me wish that the female lead loved him because I totally want to root for him. He made my heart flutter so much and this don't happen much for me, even when the actor is really handsome.
This is super exciting news for me!I love the novel, the anime was okay, never read the manhua. 80 Episodes, sounds…
I'm really excited too! I major love the novel. For now, this is the only unaired drama which I feel 80 episodes won't be enough for. The original novel had 1700+ chapters (I read the raw version and I'm at 1500+ now) and spans over 2 years (from the 8th season to the 10th season) so I'm pretty there will be more than enough content for 80 episodes. In fact, if we had any lesser, it would be tough to flesh out the characters.
I love the entire novel so much that I can't decide who are my favourite characters! There are many small little side characters from various teams that I like a lot as well so I hope they'll be featured in the drama as well.
This is not a realistic type of love story. And when i say not realistic, i mean NOT AT ALL. The guy is too perfect…
This is indeed not a realistic story at all but this is one of the best fluff I have watched. I personally grew out of fluffy pieces long ago (pretty much ever since Taiwanese dramas became outdated and Chinese dramas started gaining fame) but this drama made me really enjoy a genre which I stopped liking. I think this very fact is worth something and hence I would recommend anyone who needs a break from real life to watch this! Trashy? Check. Cancerous? Check. Enjoyable? You bet!
One of the most successful reality shows around. I watched the first episode when it was airing because I saw Show Luo in the cast and boom, I never turned back again. Today, season 3 is already out and I still love this show to bits. Many other shows tried to replicate the 6-male host gang of brotherhood format but after this show shot to success but those shows never managed to achieve the same success.
I knew one out of six person when I first started watching the show and now I love every single on e of them. The show did well in fleshing out the distinct personality of each one of them. The most important thing was that it did not feel forced. It was unlike other shows where each cast member was awkwardly force fitted into a role / stereotype.
Another highlight of this show is that they never play by the rules. So it was always really funny and exciting. You never know what to expect.... until you get used to the characteristics of each person... and then start expecting them to do absurd stuff... and they do. Which makes it even more enjoyable.
Very poignant and beautiful drama. It's been 14 years since this drama aired but I don't find it jarring at all (unlike many other taiwan dramas from the 2000s). I think Li Qing did a really great job in his acting. The quality of this drama is way above the abundance of BL dramas nowadays.
This is really lame and different from what I expected. I'm at episode 2 and I was expecting something more along the line of Battle Royale/Limit. But no, this is literally a riddle-solving drama. They give you a riddle and the show shows some mundane stuff and give you some clues along the way then they get you to 'participate by posting the answers on their official website before the next episode where the riddle will be solved'.
So rare to have kdramas that are seasonal! Kang Yi Na was my favourite character (along w Jin Myung), not having her this season is pretty disappointing :(
Was Tony, Candy's boyfriend, gay? I only ask as it was clear throught the film she wanted a physical relationship…
I don't think he's gay. What Candy meant was she wanted a real relationship where he could acknowledge that she is his girlfriend to everyone. Tony did mention that he was sexually loyal to Candy. He hasn't slept with anyone else, including his original girlfriend, after knowing her. That was also why he said he didn't owe her anything (as compared to how he is indebted his original girlfriend). What he couldn't give was the status she wanted. It should be a typo, the 'him' should refer to Candy.
Can't believe Love O2O, Shan Shan Comes to Eat and Legend of Zhen Huan are not in the list. Loads of chinese dramas are adapted from novels and I love reading those novels. There's also less popular (but also decent) ones like Remembering Li Chuan, Counter Attack, Back In Time and Memory Lost. I'm looking forward to the King Avatar's which stars Yang Yang cause that novel is one of the best I have read!
