the only cringe point in this whole show is princess situ confessing to duke su like girl please stand up why fall for a man who has never showed care for you or only showed it coz you are important for his kingdom strategy grrr it is so hard to watch, she is amazing and she doesn't deserve to be rejected 😭

she is literally so awful when you watch it you'll be so pissed at her

but it wasnt stupid she was really hurt by the betrayal of her first love and she was also concerned the way she hurt him back then will impede their relationship in the future, i think the writing and acting justified the breakup pretty well.

ep 9 angst was so good, DONT YOU JUST LOVE ACTORS WHO CAN ACT, since this is a romcom my emotional investment has been on that scale but this episode really made me ache they portrayed the breakup hurt so well

in his next drama, he seems more emo so i can't wait!!!

12 eps in and tbh it's kinda annoying how they gave the FL barely any personality, i cant figure if it is just that she likes to suppress her emotions and be in denial or the actor is just doing her best with a bare minimum script like why is the guy even into her except that he found her pretty?

need someone to break down their flirting in episode 19 when they do the hair flower exchange, i feel like the subs dont do it justice

about to rewatch for Duke Su- I miss his aura so bad

also for the XFF stabbing scene...so iconic
