The only one to blame here is that unprofessional and terrible scriptwriter
I really dont know what Choco Media was thinking when Lin Pei Yu couldn't write miracle and hired this crazy woman who bashed all production team of trapped.

There’s a What If chapter after the end of the novel where XiGu didn’t die on the accident and everything we saw on ep19-20 were nightmares that XHT keep on having. They’re on a trip to a mountain, very very happy, they confess again to each other then XHT proposes.
I know it was another person who wrote the novel, but it is a official product. They could have done this ending easily, they just should cut off some flashbacks and useless scenes and make a 10 minutes sequence with this chapter of the novel
Now the scriptwriter is being acused of plagiarising a BL manga, Lucky Kun (and the similarities are very obvious).
Frist she bashes Lin Pei Yu, who gave us 2 incredible series last year, then bashes Trapped's director for saving her awful script, now she lazily rips off somebody else's work and do it poorly.
Choco Media is the one to blame for this mess for trusting in her. Since all the trapped drama we knew she wasn't trustable.
Not every drama needs to end with a happy ending. Life is full of unexpected things, you never know what might…
I do like sad endings, my fav gay asian movies have sad endings (Malila and Happy Together), but there were so many missed plots and opportunities, we could tell the scriptwriter was trying to make us cry, but she isn't very skilled and just used a bunch of flashbacks with lazy dialogues (most of them didn't make sense, as we can see many people, including myself, not understanding some).
did they gave him a GF at the end? or am i missing smth here O.O
We don't know, his last talk with SBX is very very confusing. He says at frist he wants to travel the world and meet people, then he says he's ready to meet with YXG on the Hymalaias (sounds like he's contemplating suicide).

I didn't understad this either. The script is sooo confusing, but what I got was that he dated this girl when he started college then they broke up, she went abroad and helped him with his visa (by her name, she seems to be a foreigner) but his familly still pushes him to date her, despite he being drowned in his grief.
Ok, now that I'm trying to collect myself, there are things I want to say.(1) I hope fans don't bash the actors.…
I hate this "i don't like guys, i like you only", but in this case SBX was talking why he didn't give a try with his junior, but XHT is closed into his grief and says nobody can replace YXG (yep, the guy really exist, he isn't a hallucination)
But just as everything else in this finale, nothing is really clear
I was ready to come here and stand by the creator's decision, but what the hell did I just watched? Spoilers bellow
MODC's script had flaws since EP1 and most fans ignored them. Just cause they liked the enemies to lovers plot and all the skinship no one talked about it, if they got a happy ending everyone would be all lovey dovey. But since they chose a sad ending, I thought it would be a good try. I was completely wrong!
I don't have any problem with sad endings, some of my favourite gay asian movie have them (Malila, Happy Together, Lost Love, etc...) but the script for this episode was a MESS!
Most things are just implied (such as XTH foreing ex girlfriend, he liking his straight junior but failling to connect to him and the wrost for me: I didn't understand if he was planning to commit suicide on the Himalayas or not? At first he said he wants to travel the world, then he says that he will meet him there???). We know nothing about the other characthers also. In what is SBX working? The platonic feelings que twin had for YXG was just that?
Did they not have money enough for recording a better script? What the hell happened here? The only good thing about this episode was Wayne's acting, he's a great actor.
That's how professional reviews work most of the time though, journalist are sent three-four episodes in advance…
But that’s the whole point: that section is for people to review the full series, there’s another section to review each episodes (nobody uses it) and the comment section for 1st impressions. MDL shouldn’t accept 1st impressions and incomplete reviews on the “review” section.
Can anyone help clear up the timeline for me? I thought it went: Kiss Me Again>Dark Blue Kiss>Kiss The Series.…
Yep, if you consider they are at the same universe, it would be KMA > KTS > DBK, but the plot and chracthers do not match at all with what happened in KTS.
Kao was a completely different person, Pete was more shy also. Maybe cause they weren't explored on KTS novel and their scenes there were created for TV, then when they started following the novel in KMA and DBK, it didn't make any sense haha
Maybe it's better to consider only KMA and DBK with KTS being an AU.

Sorry any mispelling, I'm pissed right now

BTW, now a days with streaming services professional reviewers review the whole season. When it’s just a few episodes they say it’s a 1st impression.

People on the review section giving low scores for things that were explained later on.
