When in a 24+ hour show, your „main love interest” is present for less than 3 hours total while your „disposable…
Its highly possible that what was cut off the most were Tarn/Saen/Stajree plot, so it would indeed help making things more clear.
For you it doesn’t make sense cause you found “torture” Tofu’s ending eventhough he kept saying it wasn’t, so it more of a POV of part of the audience than the show’s fault.
The only thing I truly despise about the ending is the proposal and nut’s response, cause it felt really out of space (maybe with a different editing, with this scene being after Tofu asks Nut to move on), besides that everything was crystal clear: Nut still thinks and loves Tofu, but he loves and care about Tarn too and all 3 parts involved are fine with this.
I believe the international marketing didn’t deliver the correct synopsis and promo stuff to the audience, cause it was VERY VERY clear since the begging in the promotion that Tofu was a miracle by Tarn to Nut. Even divisive with Thai audience I don’t see these kind of extreme comments I’m seeing here maybe cause they knew!
Even the Netflix synopsis says: “Tofu must discover all secret before his time as human runs out”. Inn’s vlog explicitly says how it would end and they hadn’t even started shooting yet: https://youtu.be/49yGu7MbcIc (1:21 and 11:00)
The official promo material by the publisher is even more extreme on this:
I suppose the 3 episodes worth of scenes are would have made it more fluid and less sudden. But it was there all along (even the opening OST and first promo pictures)
PS: people saying that Tarn was off most time really forget that for 2/3 os the series Nut wouldn’t up himself to tofu cause he kept talking about Tarn
Unfortunately they failed to show how amazing Tarn was. They showed us he was nice guy. They showed us that he…
They showed all this. You're just ignoring the whole 2 episodes focoused on their relationship LOL
And almost half of the story was Nut still thinking about Tarn, he only let his guard down around ep10-12 after that conversation with Gen.
But again, people chose to focous on TofuNut's cute moments and forget all this. Nut even kicked Tofu out of his house cause he was reminding him of Tarn.
Well, there are rumors that South Korea is planning to adapt Killing Stalking and Painter of the Night yaoi manhwas.,…
I mean, South Korea has a good record of crazy dark perturbed movies, if they focous on this we may have a good horror series. But that's up to whos gonna adapt it
The Eclipse is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay havier than this, but it does feature a happy ending for the couple.BTW I don't…
He's been persecuted by tabloids since he started working as celebrity with rumors of he being gay and numerous boyfriends. Almost every trimester there were news about this linking him to sons of powerful/rich families, only for his PR team deny this. There was even a time a tabloid made a whole article as if he had come out, all lies. When Teddy Bear announced he was said to be couple with tons of different actors, it looked like the media really wanted him in a gay role just to expose him more. It was very tiring to follow this at time.
At the end he was indeed casted as Tofu and since then tabloids stopped creating rumours about him. He being on a ship may help on this, as it has helped other actors who have been target of the same kind of rumors.
I think people are being too harsh on Tarn. I get it you got attached with Tofu, but I believe the series made a fairly ok job showing how amazing Tarn was.
He's this incredibly handsome dude with an amazing personality who helped a broken boy become confortable with his sexuality, while teaching him how to deal with all the strugles he had. I supose had he not had to go abroad, he would have helped Nut and things probably wouldn't have been so harsh for his family.
Unfortunately he wasn't able to get to him before the accident, but his good wishes made Tofu become human so that the family could be helped. Even at the end, when he wakes up he's very counscious he can't substitute what Tofu was to these people. He isn't bothered by Nut still loving Tofu, he just want to be close to him.
He's such a loveable person. I believe it's very unfair how people have been treating him. He isn't a replacement, but he's strong enough to deal with all that and still give support and love for Nut and Na.
It's kinda ridiculous how they continue to push Nut-Tofu on us when we all now know that they aren't endgame and…

BTW I don't think they're promoting TofuNut, they're promoting InnJob, that's different. And I'm happy their ship is sailing. It'll help Sarin not being a target by tabloids anymore and Jobb take off his career.
I am surprised that this series made it through on Channel 3 as it portrays the disturbing treatment of a son…
They were really brave. They could have chosen a plain cute BL to please Bl fandom, but they rather a serious novel about family trauma with a strong commentary about thai society in general.
We know it flopped on TV (even though it made 2-3x the audience other BLs do), but it made a fuss on media cause of its aproach.
Are thai bl fujos strict about seme and uke as well? I noticed that in all the dramas I’ve watched the interactions…
It really depends. Some are very attached and even don't like people saying the characther is gay, only that "he only likes him". I've seen actors who are veeeeery strict about this and look really unconfortable when someone jokes about this, while other asks to do a series with switched positions or play with this all the time.
But I've seen other fujoshis who praise vers couples too

There was quite a backslash in Thailand cause of this. Since they’re already shooting I doubt we’ll have any changes

people are spreading this about the author, but this came from a ASSUMPTION someone made here. The director loves the ending and defends it a lot.
The finale was rushed, it’s confirmed they had to cut 2 whole episodes, but it wasn’t bad.

They’ll show an extended version of the finale at the fanmeeting
I hope we get some crumbs on sunday's fanmeeting
