Before people got mad after watching some short clips from Ep 8, i want to tell you important things here since…
That would make sense if all this weren’t added by the production just to have EarthMix skinship before the last episode. On the novel they don’t have anything before they switch back.
You’re just trying to justify a poor choice of novel to adapt into series. Saying they’re trying to convey a message when GMMTV itself is using all these scenes as baits and/or pleasers to the fans.
Plus: how many cuddling scenes have we had so far with no “deep meaning” behind it? You guys are just coming up with excuses.
I think i know the reason why they just showing bromance cause maybe the director is not good in romance genre…
In any moment I implied the bromance decision was Inukai's fault. The case of Kei x Yaku is close to The Night Beyond The Tricornered Window: the original source material has few proper romantic development and it is not a the center of the narrative. So why make it a full romance if they could reach a broader audience with a bromance? It's obviously a production choice.
I just can't take people treating japanese BL as it has no kiss rule just cause of Cherry Magic. There's been plenty of televioned BL or non BL drama with kisses in many networks (which are bigger than NTV).

TV asahi, MBS, NHK and Fuji TV all have featured gay kissing scenes on their dramas.
They chose to do bromance cause the manga so far has no romantic development between the main leads.
Kieta Hatsukoi also doesn’t feature kissing scenes till the part it was adapted.
There’s conservative thinking in Japanese television but it’s not this whole censorship people paint. The ONLY BL to not feature a kiss whereas the OG material has was Cherry Magic.
I really LOVE this series. It has some flaws, but nothing major. I see some stuff that progress better on the book (which is indrible), but I'm liking. FINALLY they showcase some tenderness between Mork's uncles. I loved the bickering, but it needed to be balanced.
But the side gay couple is SO disconected from everything else that I wonder why they're here. They don't exist in the book either.
Pls what is the difference between gmm one and gmmtv I thought They were the same company
GMMTV is a agency and production house under GMM Grammy.
ONE Enterprise is one of the subsidiaries of GMM Grammy, also a agency and production house, but they are the ones who manage the channels (GM25 and ONE31).
Is this actually a BL, or is it only in that girl's story about then? Diao definitely checked out Rak in Ep 5,…
Since most the jokes they pulled so far are cause Diao hates Rak, I believe they'll make them fall only on the last couple episodes. EP8 preview indicates it's going to have some progressions.
The show has been heavly marketed as BL, so I believe they'll end up together.

But they needed moments of EarthMix kissing to artact viwers so they made this mess.

They should have kept only 2 couples. This third one is soooo misplaced.

Maybe we're experiencing a BL bubble about to explode in thai entertainment.
EP7 was wonderful for my eyes
