I found always interesting how people used to k/c drama or thai series usually find the acting or directing style of japanese series off.
I found this series amazing. I like how they're adapting the manga (not seen the anime yet). Maybe Inowaki wasn't the best choice as Akihiko, but overall is a very good adaptation.
The amount of positive reviews from non followers of ITSAY/BKPP only shows what I've said since the airing of EP3: there was no descharacterization, the plot is very well built and this series is as good as the 1st part, but it was made for a different audience that it was sold to.
Younger followers of ITSAY/BKPP despise this, cause indeed it's no BKPP The Series as ITSAY was. The new team made what they wanted to do (a more mature/twisted plot revolving around acting techniques) and did it well.
James and Ait storyline is terrible, I couldn't care less for them. I don't know what the director is trying to imply by forcing them to the audience (no gurl, it's not right a directo to fall for and pursue the actor off his series).
Bas and Marco are very promissing, but some tecnical issues makes me unable to engage with their story.
I think they will give us happy ending last minute... but maybe they could planning special episode for show us…
Well, half of the last episode of the original was covered on this one, so they'll have more time to explore a proper ending, which the japanese one didn't have
They corrected the rushed ending of the original and took time to show what happened with Tin and KK.
I don't find KK creepy as most people do. While he did cross some boundaries in the past, Tin himself made him believe they could be together since they went to Taiwan. In the original I saw NO feeling between Haruta and Kurosawa. On this one I see that Tin is found of KK, but not romantically.
Now I hope they take time on the last episode to show us more of Tin and Muk as a couple. The original was really bad on this.
This series seems like he’s trying to convince people that it’d be ok for him to pursue an actor.

Sometimes Viki count special BTS/interview episodes as regular episodes, but it's not.
It says on Rakuten Japan and Vidol app that it'll end at 12.

But there were older members in mirror (Stanley that did Louis for exemple), I think they went with Edan and Anson cause they were already shipped.
BTW the Ossan in the japanese title was refering to Kurosawa, not Haruta.
I loved the first episode, still have doubts with Inowaki as Kaji, but the 1st episode was really strong!
I need the movie sequel asap (if theyll do it)

It Tin tin wasn't more open about his feelings than Haruta, maybe TinMuk wouldn't work, but so far it's working for me
The sinopsis of the last 5 episodes are out and they'll follow the original japanese story.
