It sounds like you didnt like TTs1 (I kinda understand season 2), so why are you watching a spin off of it?? It's…
Mame’s series are those train wrecks we can’t take our eyes off and we always want to see how absurd she can goes. And the cast on this is actually attractive.
Go argue with the original distributor in Taiwan and Japan, go argue with actors and all staff that called ep12 finale.
As It’s stated on Viki, this is just an EPILOGE. If you CANT READ Chinese and Japanese, THE PAGES OF THE MAKERS OF THIS SERIES, and it’s trying to imply that THE CREATORS are wrong, you’re just dumb

Where was it confirmed they're filming another History?
Yes. Possible. I just saw as well that it will more likely be released in august 9.Is a tencent production too,…
I didn’t ask this, I asked what you meant with being “marketed as a BL”, cause this doesn’t happen in China. Even shows based on Danmeis (the correct term for Chinese BL novels) aren’t marked as that cause they can’t. They usually are marketed as period epics or bromances. I’m talking about MARKETING, not what people consider them. Yes they are Danmei adaptations, but that’s it, they are marketed as other kinds of drama.
And there’s no difference at all between shounen ai, yaoi and BL, all terms are for the same thing and westerns invented different meanings for them. Shounen ai was the 1st used, yaoi has perjorative meaning and BL is the widespread and correct name for Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean markets.
In China they use Danmei, a mispronunciation of the Japanese “Tabi”, also a precursor of what would become BL.
If you read the interview by the author you’ll see that she NEVER meant for them to be a couple, readers who imagined too much and pressed her to make them a couple, but hey weren’t.

What do you mean by “be promoted as a BL drama”? Is this even a thing in China? They just release them as period drama and then feed fan with small interactions here and there. Even WOH was straightbaiting on their promotion.
So even the novel isn’t a BL (the author explicitly stated this), but people still keep on putting this on BL pages? I guess that’s what the censorship has brought to some of the audience: any Chinese drama with no female lead people tend to think it’s a censored danmei. I’ve seen lists of “BLs” where almost half of the list were just regular novels about friendship between men.
I believe this also highlights that some interaction in censored danmeis that international audience think “oh, that’s so gay” actually are just regular interaction between men in China.

If you guide youself by a streaming plataform that includes interviews as regular episodes (just check Where Your Eyes Linger), don't try to correct people who follow the official accounts of the series. Even the ending credits treated EP12 as finale, but yeah, the not so precise paid fansub Viki is correct
At the end, this is how BL games work
It's bad, but not as bad as TTs1, s2 and lbc2

The acting is amazing. Sanari is able to deliver an adorable yet painful Mafuyu. His dinamic with Suzuki's Uenoyama is amazing!
Loving the second couple too, Inowaki's Akihiko is growing in me
