The actors for Cherry magic have done photo-shoots and interviews including Instagram live chat collabs. Which…
From other works from Japan I've seen (Ossans Love, Kinou Nani Tabeta, Life Senjou No Bokura, His, etc...), Cherry Magic is actually the one being promoted the most.
Most other series would do one or 2 shoots after the series has finished airing and that's it (OL cast did promote fairly well, but only after it blown up). Mostly cause the series isn't their shot into stardom, most of them are already stablished actors (Keita is from EXILE, Nishjima from Kinou nani tabeta has been in the industry since the 90s), so this is just another job for them. Thai BL doesn't sell the series, they sell the fantasy of the actors off screen and since Thai BL doesn't pay itself through advertisement, they NEED to sell and endorse brands to make profit.
Well your point is yours that others won't feel it /enjoy it but that's just an illusion you're into
Hmmmm
It's hard to tell... The feels it gives resembles Happy Together and Brokeback Mountain, but more contemplative like Malila The Farewell Flower. However, the movie isn't sad/dramatic/toxic as the ones mentioned, it actually uses the struggle to wonder about a better future.
It is...and it isn't. It's so weird, lol. It depends on the actors (some actresses literally have no-kiss contracts…
I believe in 2gether's case was cause of the executive producer (who became the director on the sequel too). He likes to make more GP friendly content. There were the same complains in Dark Blue Kiss (also directed and produced by him). Most of the skinship on still 2gether were improvisations done by the actors themselves (they weren't on the script, which was done by the same dude who directed it hahaha).
And before people tax him as homophobic, he's openly gay. He just thinks that soft mlm content do more for the community there since more people will watch it than steamy scenes that only a hard core fan base will see.
You would think because i watched MODC i would be okay with open/sad endings right? WRONG. So yesterday a bl update…
It’s most likely they’ll split up but reunite at the end. Like, they’ll make a promise to each other before splitting up and the last few scenes are they seeing each other afar
It's a movie about making the audience feel the struggle of the protagonist, but not to put on words/scenes what is going through their minds. I believe the regular MDL user won't enjoy it.
It evocates a LOT Happy Together, but with a more positive ending.
5,99 is still absurd for a rent of a single episode. I don’t believe Nadao is doing any kind of charity here. There would be subs they providing it or not. They are just greedy AF and are aiming on rich Chinese fujoshis.
That's a good trailer! And from it, it doesn't seem that Barbie's characther will be a villain, she will be just a girl lost in the middle of Mando's mess hahaha
im curious what is there to actually dislike lol just some petty person being like "ugh Kurosawa is too considerate…
If you ever watched any other BL while airing, you know people get tired of waiting and start bashing the series here on MDL. Considering how the manga is going, I see this happening really
Since the whole plot is based on the actors real story, I believe they'll split on the last episode, but the last…
It was said by the director and the actors themselves that the plot was based on their true expirience on high school, but they never went on details on what was created and what was true.
But, it is known that they were high school friends, they split up and reunited when got into Nadao. On their interviews we see some similarities between the characthers and them. Some people argue that they're exes, but that's all speculations.
I have a feeling we're gonna get MODC'd by this one...
Since the whole plot is based on the actors real story, I believe they'll split on the last episode, but the last scene will be they meeting up again on the agency they'll get into or something like that.

Plus, Johnny's fans tend to hide everything cause the company is pretty strict about copyright.

It's close do His (film), but more artistic.

I hope people still don’t buy their shit.
