One thing has been bothering me: when a BL has a good scriptwriting, isn't poorly produced and/or has a more mature tone people show up saying that it isn't a BL anymore, it's a proper LGBT drama.
I won't even start on how using BL as a synonim for crappy work is outdated and misoginistic (it's literally the origin for the term yaoi). Yes, thai BL has given us so so works for years but it wasn't cause they were BLs, but cause poor production companies have been doing them so far!
Whoever reads japanese BL manga knows how vast it is. There are the more fantasy ones, the more mature, the more LGBT linked, the ones that revolves around fetishism, etc. The issue with Thai BL was that we were only fed with only one type of story and production. And it's not as if an "LGBT drama" would have the meaning of "quality drama". There are plenty of thai LGBT series which are as bad as most BLs productionwise.
Dare I say it's actually going to be a good ending! The director and the screenwriter indicated that next weeks…
I'm putting all my coins that it will cut right before we finally see them together, but everything will be cleared for them to be together and it will be shown they going after each other.
Pamilya ng mga burgis si Vlad, how he speaks is how I expected him to speak. They also live in condo units, so…
I agree 100% with you. This series is good indeed, but it's being over hyped cause of this catch phrases. No one here is up to Elijah or JC's acting. Even Tony who is a more stiff actor, his lines seemed more natural.
Oh mando isn't dramatic, but Kokoy is giving the best comedic performance of the year in a BL.

You put in words better than I. These lines, specially when they come in english, sound SO FREAKING FAKE. It seems that he took them from those cheap "woke" clothing lines. He should tone down a little this, it will age terribly bad.
Ok, from the 2 previews we have (LINE TV and youtube), we can bet that on episode 4:
- Teh will still be deeply confused with himself, but he won't let Oh Aew go - Teh's family will talk about him bringing a girlfriend, he'll feel the pressure. - Tarn will confess to him, but he won't. Maybe we'll have the "You're just doing this to hide that you're gay" scene from the trailer - Oh-Aew is hurt, but he can't help getting close to Teh - I bet they'll make out, but maybe we won't see much. - I wouldn't doubt if they get caught at the last scene, this being the cliffhanger
About the series ratings: in just a few hours the series received several scores 1. It can only mean one thing:…
That's why thai series were banned from top airing shows for a while here on MDL. People tryed to mannipulate scores to boost their favourite series relevance. It was very notable SOTUS stans doing that, then the double T show stans. Pure childish behaviour.

No I'm not LOL
You can keep pretending everything is perfect here and that the author doesn't want to make an impact with this formulaic catch phrases LOL 5 minutes on his twitter you'll get how he works.

Have you read the part that I compare other privileged Filipinos and the characters here? They don’t sound to be forcing English as Judit and Vlad do even though they speak more English than them. Every time someone points this out on this page, even if the person was born and raised on the Philippines, people come blindly argue that Judit sound natural LOL
A lot of people keep saying that the 1st scene of the 1st episode is a flashfoward, but it’s not. This series as a whole is set in 2021 (maybe a post covid World). The opening sequence is the “interview” Oh Aew talks about with his parents on episode one. Teh and Oh Aew on that scene are still in high school, so it would make no sense it is in the future.

Errr, well, the writer can dictate how the lines will be said by the actors. And this seems to be the case.
If we watch interviews by filipinos who lived abroad or are from mixed families (like Tony, Alex Diaz, and the girl from Pearl Next Door) they use MORE english than Vlad or Judit, but they don't put enphasis when they say these sentences. They come naturally. Vlad and Judit usually use english for phrases with impact ("remember, you are valid" and all those things), it's not well balanced and it really seems that the author uses english catch phrases to make an impact on international viewers.

I cant wait to see how this will turn out.
I wish they get another shot on a better production.

It's quite pleasant actually.
Those theories about death are non sense, Nadao wouldn't repeat the same ending of My ambulance for them.

Judit specially she talks very slow in english when she's usuing an effect phrase.
