they are all only being able to be released because they are released internationally. I will forever remember that in 2016 Love is more than just a word was being released inside of china, I was able to watch it while I was in china and then everything started to be taken down, the industry was growing and china did not like that. You still will not find any of such shows in streaming services in china only outside.

I think there is some Chinese things that might be difficult to understand unless you have worked on set in China. The industry is pretty much how it is portrayed, full of drunk ktv nights, long hours on set, no intimacy coordinator and complicated relationships (don’t ask me how do I know that). The budget is good, morally gray characters, the script is not bad and most actors are good, great even. I hope this is getting enough buzz? I haven’t check the Chinese side to know.

if you read the novel, it has even less drama then the tv show. it’s pretty chill. pond also mentioned that it is a “feel good” series for the end of the year. no nonsense drama, just fluff.
