did Book do something with his face? he looks quite different! let's see if gmmtv can pull off surrealism, it is not an easy genre and most people don't have the brain cells for it nowadays.
Really like this show, the director could have toned down a bit in the sound effects, manly that horse one is…
there is someone in the editing team at gmmtv that loves this horse sound. when I was at the Gmmtv building last month all I could think about is how to infiltrate the building and delete this freaking sound from their system.
So, my fiancee told me to watch since I'm just like Minato according to him, I'm so glad I did it is sooooo good, raw but lighthearted and cute at the same time.
I guess before 2016 as for Thailand Love sick was the first one that made huge waves in 2014 and why we have so many BLs nowadays. One of the guys in the couple is White and you will see him in many shows to this day. There has been a remake made last year which was pretty ok too but I feel nostalgic for the original and also seeing young White. . A personal favourite it was Bad Romance where we were introduced to Maxtul for the first time but I would just watch their cut and avoid all the rest. Grey rainbow is a sad ending but a classic for me too. In China we had a few great ones,Falling in Love with a Rival from 2014 was the first adaptation of a chinese novel and people talked about it a lot at the time (me included as I was in China at the time) and recently we got a new adaptation with the name Revenged Love which people are talking a lot about again. There was also Like Love which was a personal favourite at that time too. And I love you as a man too! Japan was releasing a lot of great bl anime at that time so we got some good films at that time, The whole takumi-kun series of films around 2007 and Seven days and also No touching at All. Korea was also on fire during that time, in the beginning with the gender bender genre (girl dressed as a man) with Coffee prince in 2007 and Secret garden in 2010 (hong kong did my favourite one called Bromance). In 2010 we also had I think the first gay couple in korean tv in the tv show Life is Beautiful (which I loooved at that time). A kidol did the gay couple in The lover which was a big deal in 2015 too. Antique Bakery is a classic from 2008 too and Just Friends? from 2009.
Overall most things were somewhat innocent, soft , experimental or the classic "oh I'm not a boy, I'm a girl!" in the end, so the times were difficult however things definitely started to get better from 2014 onwards where we had way more content.
sure, don't worry about it!! I've been watching BL's and GL's since 2010/2011 before it was even a thing in Thailand so if you need any pointers or help let me know!!
just a very cute pick me up, a bit mangá-esquece which makes sense since it is based on a manga. I would’ve loved a second season of them navigating adulthood, that would be very interesting !
