You need to force yourself to finish it - then you will know. Yes - it’s brutal, but it’s just a story ( albeit a brilliant, tongue in cheek, take on Gone With The Wind ) Def a masterpiece.

I really wanted to like this - but found myself so frustrated with FL. Poor writing. I don’t know why the rating is 8 when there are so many better written well acted dramas with lower scores.

Lady Qins sidekick nanny also didnt get her comeuppance, she let in Manniang to kill the baby. She should have been pushed in that well !!
Done watching for the second time … how great is this drama ! 73 episodes slipped by so fast …. so enjoyable. An amazing slice of ancient China. I couldn’t recommend it more ❤️❤️
Luke … you redeemed yourself my man ! Flora …. I dunno , when you pushed him away at the door 🥺. The museum was such a tribute from a man in love - perhaps you might have smiled more, or shown that you were touched… but …. The proposal was lovely and, yes, tears were shed, but I didn’t feel it from Flora. A rushed ending - but we rooted for this couple from the get-go. What a ride ! ❤️❤️
I’m really trying to like FL - but it’s tough. The break up ‘ I love my flying career more than our relationship ‘ said it all. He’s trying so hard to change things for her but her pride and ‘ you don’t know what I’ve been through ‘ turned me off. I also don’t feel the chemistry. It’s a shame because I like both actors. I know there’ll likely be a happy ending but this hasn’t been a drama where I was anxious for the epidodes. Also - mom shouldn’t get a pass - she let that girl down.
