This drama was pure angst - you kind of knew all along it wouldn’t have a happy ending - BUT - you cannot deny the acting, especially ML , was phenomenal !! Totally undeserving of such a low score !

Yup - we have the drugs, child and female trafficking and dynasty challenge… sorta like modern day 🙄

I’m curious why Chinese censors pass BL dramas, like this one, and Revenged Love, yet there are so many still waiting to be released. Any idea ?

I’m thinking now that the dubbing isn’t helping. His dubbing, and even that of some others in the cast sound more like a read through.

Peter Ho - I know he’s a seasoned actor, and has been praised many times, but I feel he just spouted out his lines in this production. His delivery seemed awkward. I didn’t care for his acting in P of Beauty either.

I’m enjoying the drama so far ….but I find the background music is too loud and distracting. I wish I could turn it off.
