On epidode 4 …. Princess is over the top rude - ML a bit wimpy. Hopefully this will improve. This isn’t a drama that grabs you from the beginning. Fingers crossed it gets better, since I like both leads. Seems rather cheesy right now.

And I so understand his feeling of being led on. He had made a clean break - was trying so hard to deal with his feelings, but she keeps showing up in front of him. She should also figure herself out ! Then when she overhears XT had framed CX she worries that ‘ his’ heart is changing !? Pick a lane girl.
Hmmm ? so you know he’s obsessed, yet you agree to his terms ( twice ) so he’ll save your fiancée ( who is a traitor, yet you seem unfazed by this ). Then you fight off his advances, twice. Then you lead him on.. he seems happier. Brings out the fireworks during which you give an excuse to get your shawl ( which should only take a moment ). Of course he’s gonna look for you - yet you chose this time to ‘attempt’ sui***e. He finally caves. You leave then find out all the ways he helped you and your mother. and that he’s off to war, promoting you to run after his car ???? Yes he’s brutal in his obsession, but kind and brave in other ways. You need to pick a lane. I think this arc could have been written a little better.

I’ve just started this and am liking it so far - but I must agree - the background music, these days in many dramas, is either too loud, or unnecessary for the moment. I hope it’s not a trend.
Usually actors can portray emotions with their eyes when there’s no physicality required - but, in my humble opinion, FL isn’t able to do this. I felt no connection to her, or her plight. The attraction between her and the ML seemed forced, not loving, or kind. I also felt Xu Kai was a poor choice ( although I really like him) for this role, yet I think he tried his best- even though their chemistry was lacking. The secondary characters were more convincing. FL drifted through this drama, not one of her best. On a side note, the background music was overly dramatic and too loud.
