Only a few kissing scenes, but the pair have good chemistry and personally I loved their dynamic lol. Romance was a big part of the show and it’s pretty obvious from the beginning that the ml likes the fl lmao. And nw 🫶

haha, I feel you. The romance was present all throughout the show but it’s very much plot heavy/filled with political intrigue. If you’re only looking for romance, skip, but overall I think it was a good show, they’re so sweet together n have a lot of cute scenes together and all the plot and schemes make their relationship stronger fs ❤️

man, what is WRONG with the king !!! i'm honestly so surprised that the kingdom hasn't already been swallowed up by the queen's faction with the way this king has been acting! in the beginning, when the ml's boat is sunken and it's so obvious that the third prince was at fault, why was he acting all fatherly to ml, going "how dare you not tell me that you were still alive and instead try to figure out that your brother was at fault >:((" like girl what ?? don't say "you're attacking your brother!" as if the brother wasn't the one who actually attacked him in the first place!! and you're telling me someone from the court tried to KILL the PRINCE of the country, and instead of trying to secure his own safety, the victim should have waltzed back in to let them finish the job ??? ntm that the third prince got away scot-free like what. sure it was the servant who orchestrated it but absolutely no consequences for the prince who's actually in power is crazy! on top of that the king is acting all high and mighty saying he's concerned about the way his sons aren't on good terms/needing to uphold a reputation of a loving family as if it isn't his own fault they're fighting to be named crown prince because he hasn't named anyone in the first place! it's just so wild to me that the king is saying things to the ml like "i'm expecting big things from you" but not supporting him at all, and the second the queen schemes to get rid of him or ruin his reputation the king falls for it, but the third prince/queen never see any repercussions smh. atp just let the ml live freely how he wants outside of the court or whatever seeing as to how no matter what he does he can't compare to the favorite son anyway smh
