They wasted SO MUCH TIME with the stupid filler episodes with MR. This drama had actual potential if they stuck to the storyline. Very unfortunate.

Do they though??? We'll see how it plays out. I did see the spoiler of 39 (or was it 40?) where MR goes to LQ... wonder if that's how she's supposed to somehow "redeem herself" but helping to save him?

Yea basically all that happens in the 5 years is LQ/BN go back to Bingzohu and live "normal lives". All their enemies however, have spent the last 5 years plotting and building up their plan. ZX is now super successful/wealthy, although very corrupt, and has an army that could be strong enough to defeat the Jinxi army (LQ's side). As mentioned below, Empress gave birth to a son and is absolutely rude to the Emperor. Her son seems to really like the Emperor though and vice versa, but are basically forbidden to have a relationship due to the mother.

Honesty just watched enough of their scenes to figure out what they were scheming and fast forwarded through the rest of them in 31-21 lol.

I always say I'm going to hold out on watching the episodes but end up watching anyway lol. Maybe its not as bad as I think or I'm too hopeful/eager to just finish this.

For those who are wanting spoilers, EP 31 reveals that Gao bitch was actually blackmailed by the Empress into helping her. For A QUICK second I thought she had redeemed herself by going to the palace to try and do right. OF COURSE I was wrong as she's scheming with ZX too in EP 32. Speaking of ZX, he's really one ungrateful SOB given BN/LQ saved his life and he still holds a grudge/obsession.

We do start to get interactions of QA and his "supposed" mom. Both of their memories are affected so neither are able to realize it yet. Oh and then he somehow gets his memory back after DD waves flowers in his face?? Back to the mom, it's revealed by a nun that the person who took the Book of Supreme weapons was BN's dad.. and now Gao is set to take her revenge.

5 years pass.. and the Empress is still a bitch. Shocked her own son has more knowledge on being a decent person than she does.

And now the mess of everything continues (if not worsens) in the next few episodes...

Oh boy based on the comments and trailers below I may need to wait until next week to watch the rest… they’re really separating LQ and BN until the very end and HOW are all the villains still alive?!

Yea someone’s going to need to spoil it for me… deciding whether or not to wait until all episodes are released. I’ve been watching them as soon as they come out but I don’t know if I can take the next few if they’re as bad as they make it seem.

I’ve been watching Rebirth and Fall in Love.. didn’t have time for NPE until now 😂. Curious to see if I agree with your opinions. NPE seems to be a lot more serious though and may take a few episodes to build up?

Really enjoying this one and like you said, the episodes really fly by. I haven't started Pearl Eclipse yet.. but will start tonight since I'm out of 'Fall in Love' episodes to watch haha.

Really enjoying this so far but I absolutely CANNOT stand Wan Ting. Already waiting for the day where she gets what she deserves.

I personally find him way more attractive than the ML, but it’s also my first time watching him. Whereas I’ve been a fan of LYJ since Idol Producer. Will see if ML’s role will make me become a fan of him haha.
