ya actor did a great job playing villain. i truly hates his guts.

started out pretty funny, but things got gradually darker and darker. still worth watching.

all I wanted was to watch a comedy where I can turn my brain off. But this show turned from a comedy to dark and heavy with lots of politics.

was really enjoying the first few episodes as a comedy. but it got all dark all of a sudden. even the da da da ending song is replaced. :(

yes. plenty of kisses and a bed scene. but mostly towards the end.

is this xianxia or wuxia?

not a bl fan nor have I watched UWMA. but there's a good amount of angst here. ML starts out as a red flag and pretty annoying. If you can sit though 6 or 7 eps of that, the slow burn turns into an inferno and the chemistry between the leads are the strongest i've ever seen.

He's a classic male tsundere. All comes down to personal taste. Some people really like this type.

you should also check out Reset if you haven't already.

squid is boxer and like Ding Qi he probably used the time loops to get stronger. he also had a remote control to turn off security cameras in his building as well as security guards under his command. cordoning off an area of the car park is not that unrealistic.

from what I read, this show covers book 1 of a 5-book series. So there's definitely enough source material there to make another 3-4 seasons. It seems like the show is also hinting that they want to make another season. But what ultimately determines wither this show gets another season or not is the viewship numbers.

ya it felt pretty shallow since the show didn't spend too much screentime on developing the romance. but at least the kisses were hot.

age gap is intentional as it fits with the ages of the characters in the story.

The MC solved the case, put the villain behind bars and kissed the girl. I'vd say it's a happy "closed" ending.
The last but isn't as open as some people think it is. I'm happy they added the last bit since it addresses the fact that villain still had his time loop powers and is dangerous at the end. Dude might be able to do some damage during loop days but it won't change the fact that he is a convicted criminal and will be shot if he attempted to escape.
