Well, my friends kept telling me it's really good and everything, but I just didn't felt the need to watch it. Now I watched it for Alan Rickman.

Yeah, I did in the middle of the second episode. The overall idea is surely interesting, but I couldn't live with the acting. I don't think it was terrible, especially when you have in mind that Japanese tend to overexpress emotions in dramas or anime, but I guess I just couldn't stand the main female character, she really annoyed me without revealing the secrets. I might give the anime a try, since I think the drama has a different story than the anime. But I'd recommend you at least give it a try and then see for yourself.

Well, if they write the name in a book, it's definitely Death Note... Perhaps you meant Mirai Nikki? It was a survival game and the game host communicated with the players through mobile phones.

If it's psychological with creepy twists that you like, you should definitely watch A tale of two sisters. And please don't read bokami's comment, there's a really big spoiler in it.

Mukai Osamu wasn't in any of these movies, you must have confused something.

It is myfavorite drama, actually, but it is not horror at all, it is a mystery and susprnse and some detective. So there was no point to include it here.

I had a hard time with Soul too and I do understand why someone may not like it. It wasn't that amazing for me to try to convince you that you should finish it, but I wanted that people at least gave it a chance, it's worth that.

Well, like I mentioned, usually Korean horror focuses on why the ghost wants to haunt those particular people. In most cases it's a sad story of betrayal.
And A tale of two sisters is a bit different than that, and I do agree it's scary, but damn, it's really good. It's great.

It's just a matter of taste :) I myself have time periods to like it and not to like it.

I dislike that scene too. It just has too much room of perverted interpretation.
