I see myself as interested in Eastern Asia :) But as long as I'm not 'bullied' by either side, I don't really care how to categorise myself :D I used to be a lot into horror, now... I guess I just watched enough of it not to be craving for it anymore :)

Well, I've come back to watching anime, it seems, but still. It's just I'm not that much of an Asian maniac [or drama maniac, for that matter] as some of the other MDL members and sometimes it almost seems that it makes me a weirdo in this context...

I don't watch movies that much, that's the complicated part :) And overall, mostly I'm watching American TV series or something else Western :)

Mine is soooo long as well. Though now it's mostly movies, but still. It feels almost impossible to complete :D

Ganbatte! I'll be rooting you for PPD, feel free to share your pain :D I plan to watch Tsumi to Batsu, which was based on Crime and Punishment, and it has Kora Kengo in it, I liked him a lot in Shotenin.

He was big part of why I watched Karamazov no Kyodai, but the drama itself was really good too, you should give it a go.

I'm so happy I've found another Saitoh Takumi fan :D Due to him, I suffered through the whole Princess Princess D :D

Well, I'd simply say that if you can find only such things to write about that have been already written about 100 times before, like you say, just don't write about them.

Hi there. It's nice to see someone finally writing a decent article here on MDL.

My mystery in detective dramas are that someone outside the police or any other institution always solves the case much better and quicker than the ones that are supposed to do that. And that's not even only in Asian dramas.

Now that's a good and researched article. There's been a lack of those.

Just because it's written by fans doesn't mean you can't do research. When someone was writing about couple, she asked tons of other users about their suggestions and opinions in order to make as best article as possible. I just don't see the point of such articles of personal opinions when there surely is possibility to do at least some research and better preparation for them.

Well, in that case such articles are very underresearched, aren't they?
