Zhang Xin Cheng is definitely what sold me over on this at first, but I'm also a fan of SWL and TSY so the cast was a no-brainer for me to start this! I also couldn't stop watching when I started, I became addicted to the point I was thinking about it before sleeping LOL. I love how the story can be so touching and emotional one second and have you in laughter the next. The cast all have such great chemistry together! The familial vibes are so nice too! I love the dads! Li Haichao is absolutely an AMAZING father, and idk how anyone could think otherwise! He may think he hasn't been able to do enough but he has given the world to these kids!

Oh the OSTs are absolutely beautiful! I agree with you on the acting, ZXC has absolutely floored me with how much range he has with his acting!!! I've fallen slightly behind as I've been busy but gonna get to watching ep 33 (online version) later on today! It's definitely become the highlight of my day haha.

haha I haven't actually seen LCDF! I definitely have to add that one to my watchlist! :) ah, I was not sure about trying it at first either, because I really didn't like Find Yourself, but the cast won me over on this decision! I also haven't had an easy time finding cdramas I've enjoyed lately~!! haha I didn't see Untouchable Lovers, I stayed away from it bc I heard it was a bit of a mess. As much as I like SWL, I don't think I could sit through it! I also am not overly emotional when watching dramas, but this had me in tears a number of times! so it obviously managed to touch me and the characters really had me feeling for them~!! I hope you're enjoying this drama :D

haha also not sure how it works out in China but I guess they'd legally be a family??

personally, i don't mind the romance, it felt like for me their bond/feelings for each other has been the same from beginning to end? i don't think the romance adds or takes anything away, they still are as close to each other and the whole family in general! and i feel they managed to prove well that family is not all about blood relations, the three of them (and the fathers) definitely have a special relationship!

awww, thank you! I hope so! I think there's a lot of craze over this drama so a fair amount of people are already watching but I hope for anyone on the fence this makes them consider it :)

and agree on Steven!!! he really really deserves to go far, he's superb! his acting has blown me away entirely <3

haha I think you're not the only one who feels this way? idk if I really ship any of them either.. I personally prefer the bond they already had, and the familial love and care for each other. I feel like LX and LJJ could easily just be close friends/family haha.

I agree!!! everyone here did an incredible job acting their parts! the young kids, the fathers, the young adults haha. It's definitely going somewhere near the top of my fave list~ :D

ikr? normally it takes a lot for me to cry but i'm so invested in the characters the tears just flow out of me haha

i knooow ;w; part of me is scared for the turbulence that might lie ahead! but i have faith they will hold each other up and stay strong! i'm only on ep 32 (a few eps behind the current ones lol) but i can see why things might get a bit bumpy ahead!
