I think what turns people off about her character is her temperament and sense of entitlement. She feels that she deserves DDM because she takes care of him as a close friend and do all these things based off her own feelings and sense of entitlement to him. Plus her attitude isn’t the most nice. I don’t think the drama did well in exposing much of her vulnerability which is why it’s a bit difficult to root for her.
DDM is wrong . I don’t think he cares for Ayla the way that Ayla does but he naturally goes along with proposing to her because she’s close to him and she takes care of him. He is cheating behind Ayla’s back after committing to marriage to her while feeling a strong connection and feeling towards the SJ.
Anyone else confused and discouraged by the “sibling” boundaries DM put on SJ? Like it is so very obvious he likes her a lot. He day dreamed about being with her! I just really hate this for the story. Also I’m not so optimistic for how this story will wrap up soon. The pace of the story is slow it feels like I’m still in the earlier episodes. How are they going to wrap this up with 3 episodes left?
😂😂😂 I can agree. The Romance piece wasn’t needed but I personally didn’t mind it. I wasn’t too bothered by the ending but it did seem a bit sloppy to add the “future son” comes to save the couple. I think the writers were trying to end it on a note where it was less traumatic and more feel good.
It didn’t make sense to me at first but there were moments that hints towards it, like how the ML becomes protective of the FL. With everything else going on in the story you wouldn’t expect romance to bloom. I think you will like it as you go along.

It does paces itself slowly then most dramas but sometimes in those scenes I can find that it adds additional context to the story in a round about way. But I get it. Sometimes we can spend a good time in a scene full of dialogue with not a lot to help progress the story further along. I wonder how they are going to speed this up knowing there are 16 episodes.
My only gripe with this drama is that when they are flashing back and forward from past to present the director doesn’t do a good job with leading us in to those moments. I also feel the are some scenes that are drawn out and doesn’t move the story along the way I’d personally prefer it to.
I feel like Ba Da continuously proves Eun Kangs point to where she is unable to get a reality check. Eun Kang didn’t have a privileged mother, or a good career and a loving relationship with her significant other and it’s not BaDa’s fault. But I think Ek made a decent point when it came to other people dissing her and BD not defending her. BaDa cared more about the idea of them being friends more then she cared about really knowing and seeing EK for who she is. A person. Yes EK admittedly did all those errands for her but with so many people speaking ill of her, looking at her as a nanny instead of an independent human being with feelings, this would drive anyone to jealously. I don’t agree with the things EK did, but I think BaDa really fails to understand what role she plays in this. The end of episode 18 confirms this. I thought it was a bit shameless for EK and CW to give it a go knowing that EK’s sole purpose wasn’t just a crush, it was to get back at her friend. Smh. Bada needs a reality check. Her husband cheated on her with a girl (EK) that she counted out, her own best friend . That’s her mistake. I EK can just move on from this. She will reep what she sowed but I hope she can get a happy ending as well.
What an incredible show. I can’t help but feel though, is it me or did it feel like a different drama after Jin Yang Cheol? Like the actor Lee Sung Min really played his butt off for this role and at times it felt like he really carried the show! Song Joong Ki of course played his role very well but there was so much to unpack with Jin Yang Cheol! Great story! Loved this drama for the twists and turns! A must watch!
Its a fri , sat , sun drama . Fri ep was cancelled due to fifa . So only 2 eps this week
Omg I literally just started watching this drama on Wednesday and I had no idea that we will be getting 3 episodes per week based on normal scheduling !!!
I enjoyed it for the acting of the main leads but I must say I really had issues with the writers. Especially towards the end of the series where it seems like were "wrapping up" certain plot lines. Indeed Iljimae is a tragedy but some events in the story just did not make sense to me and often time uncalled for. At times I also felt the writers had vendettas against women by making them act foolish around iljimae. This was a decent watch and a fantastic performance from Jung Il woo overall.

That to me is a satisfactory ending.
This part! This is what makes it a good ending!
