exactly. the only brand deals that she still have going on are the international ones where they don't really give a crap about artists' personal lives. she literally used to be everywhere with her domestic brand deals and ads.

lol have you been living under the rock? international fans, especially south asian fans, now collectively hate han so hee and label her as a 'a homewrecker, just like her drama role'. the #teamhyeri term is literally everywhere. when han so hee's domestic brand deals ended, knets cheered and speculated that it must be because of her scandal (that she got 'dropped out').

i do agree that hsh's chronically online arse was also at fault for being unable to shut up. but saying she is not affected AT ALL is a reach, especially when every nook of the internet is on hyeri's side.

and the way every character, from the house servants to the government staff, feels EQUALLY important... so so SO good. kudos to the writer. i love it so much.

WHERE DO I EVEN START... dynamic storyline, 'smaller' villains and their character developments, side characters and their well-thought-out respective stories, a satisfying ending, superb acting from everyone (no sore thumb AT ALL! even both the in-laws' actors whom i was worried about at first.) (ps. i'm not a hater, i'm a follower of yeonwoo's works and i just realized it was hierarchy's writing that was bad and not kim jaewon's acting LOL), the chemistry between the romantic pairings and the friendships, and many more...

a great drama in overall. maybe it's not groundbreaking to some, but the way the characters are written well & thoughtfully enough to the point that a watcher like me could feel both sad and happy for everyone is enough.

please do give this drama a chance if you haven't. even if you end up thinking it's not as great as the positive comments said, it definitely won't be a waste of your precious time. I GUARANTEE.

really appreciate the casting for past and present seokyung. it genuinely looks like the same person maturing.

what i like about this whole series is, though the plot and pacing are not 5/5 excellent, there’s a lot of familiar faces in the casting so it makes it more ‘trustworthy’ to watch (if that makes sense hahah)

didn't know han joon woo could be charming after only watching him in 'through the darkness' and 'pachinko'

stepmother had a relationship with gwon yohan before he switched with hwang hyeondo. apparently she had a child (juntae) with gwon yohan and she never got to tell him because fake yohan got killed after the switch. so the real gwon yohan (who now lived as hwang hyeondo) basically never knew that juntae is his biological child until it's too late

in the webtoon: first ML ends up with second FL (i didn't read the webtoon but i accidentally read the spoiler once lol)
in the drama: still unclear, but first ML persistently likes first FL and hasn't showed any genuine feelings towards second FL so far/14 episodes in

also the drama is enjoyable and full of twists. some people find it boring in later episodes but to me it's still fun
