What does that have to do with the show? They aren't going to purposefully pick a black person who doesn't fit the role. Also, the likelihood that there is a half black thai actor is low by demographic statistics alone. Casting isn't about pushing an agenda. It's about picking actors who fit the roles best.

If you're Indian, then you'd know the US isn't the only bully but the UK as well. And of course, Germany. We've all fucked up. Some way worse than others. Also, we don't all believe in the US-bully tactics (IE, Iraq war, Vietnam,etc. ). A lot of young people are too young to remember this too.
The actors are irreplaceable. But I am interested to see what they do with it since it's my favorite bl of all time. I hope they write around some of the YIKES parts. As much as I enjoyed the first season and Gu Hai going crazy most of the time, somethings are hard to look past.
