Okay this is random but i read it too fast and ended up with Petechris as Petridish and now the name is struck with me. The cast is stuffed to gills with pretty people and I'm not complaining. The mama-papa endearments evokes monday morning alarm mood for me -Go away! Make it stop! KimKenta/KentaKim fanatic here. Hope they get solid storyline and decent screentime. Their dynamics are delicious. Despite cringe moments, corny stuff and scenarios that would make me go 'But that makes no sense' this show got me on chokehold enough to set the alarm for next episode. That's a win for the series in my book.
Err you won't find me defending the acting in 2 Moons so... The thing about opinion is -is that it is subjective. Yes Gawin is talented actor with emoting eyes. And also yes that I'm not vibing with his portrayal of the character HERE in this show. I don't judge people on the basis of their watchlist and favourites for I understand opinions and experiences vary with time and circumstances, scenarios, moods be it life or dramas. Peace!
In my defense that was one of my starter pack shows. Agree with your observations but gonna still like that one out of nostalgia :)) But on serious note I probably wouldn't have minded the same old stereotypes had I watched MGB show years back. Not hating this show let alone the actor (I like Gawin) but the character and acting is just off for me here.
Yeah I have eclectic taste. I judge a series solely on the basis of how much I enjoyed watching it. Cute, fluffy, toxic, terrible it all boils down to- Was I entertained/ kept engaged/ got invested? But yes to think of it 2 Moons and Addicted does sound like opposite ends of spectrum :)
Absolutely stunning visuals, crackling chemistry and that sexual tension! Probably will manage to take me to the finishing line. But at the risk of sounding harsh/negative it is getting tad too difficult to put up with Tong's cookie-cutter stereotypical BL uke shenanigans. Gawin is gorgeous and talented actor and I'm all for actors exploring different genres, styles, characters to act but- his Tong act is feeling off and getting tedious too enjoy. The whole cutesy, pouty, ditzy routine is difficult to bear as it is after watching way too many BLs (and hetero series with the same dang troupe) but it is being way too overdone here. The scenes where he has to be 'normal' and especially scenes with gravitas he shines through. But rest of the time and that is more than three quarters it's just me pleading for the character/actor to keep it 'normal'. Especially considering he has seen up close and personal how vampires can and will figuratively and literally kill for golden blood HIS blood specifically; him going on incessantly with his airhead attitude is getting jarring to bear. If he can't get serious I'll settle for 'normal' at this point. May be it's me problem but I just can't with the cutesy, pouty, ditzy routine!
I say this with no malice but please people not all spoilers are equal. Spoiler button exists for the SHOW. To discuss what has happened in the show or what you are speculating to happen but being considerate to those who are yet to catch up with the episodes. But when you post spoilers about the main twists in the book unasked you are spoiling the WHOLE show. Spoilers about the episodes airing versus the whole show that has just started airing! PLEASE be more considerate towards your fellow watchers. Atleast precede your book comment with another comment stating 'book spoiler ahead' so people like me won't open the hidden post. Thank you.
Arm is alcoholic. He probably needs therapist or AA help more than a boyfriend. Make up on a single actor can be easily used for 5 more. Do sound effects folks get paid by number of sounds per second? They must be raking money. The' single brain cell among us but it's never my turn' trio of Arm-Po-Sand were the best part of the show till now for me. FaifaWine looks interesting but then again it's New Siwaj. So...
If watching Thame and Po is like dreaming a soft, sweet, serene dream then Jun chimes in like alarm clock. Not asking for kissing or err spicy scenes; will be watching ThamePo walking to and fro with widest goofiest grin on my face for an entire episode but can we please actually HAVE them on screen for a solid 10-15 minutes together minus distractions? Too much of an ask from a series titled ThamePo?!
My mind: Why are you watching this objectively ridiculous show. Where is your dignity? Me tuning into the show religiously episode after episode for guilty pleasure: I bought my dignity from the same store that Pat did.
It is always the series that you don't have any expectations from and even thought they won't work that end up pleasantly surprising you! Penguin and Panther plotline sounded bizarre when I first heard of it. Ridiculous unhinged even. Yet here I am charmed by the cuteness of the show(and the actors) and waiting for the next and the next and next episodes to drop by. P.s. And yes this show is not inundated with those overused over the top aggravatingly annoying background soundtrack hallmark of most Bls!! Bonus 100 points from me just for that. This is a sweet calm fluffy watch so far.
I always keep my expectations low for Domundi series but credit where due in their shows the visuals of cast are always beautiful, crackling chemistry, passable acting, tropes galore but engaging enough to see the show to finishing line. The cast in this show is pretty too but considering everything else the show is DOA.
Just a general observation. Seen quite a few comments for quite some time of people commenting against people against nc scenes (Tonkla nc scenes). Jeez I almost sound poetic. Don't mind me :)
Those are some well thought of theories :) And that's my whole grouse about the series. The theories that audience are coming up are so intriguing and interesting but makers got only 4 episodes left to give us story and ending that would make sense. If they could manage half the imagination of theories of viewers got that would be a win.
I'll answer one of your questions. Sex, just like in real life, shows emotions or the lack thereof. And yes, it…
I have NOTHING against explicit scenes. But barely legal 18yrs old with 27yrs old in such explicit content makes me uncomfortable. Yes I know they are actors and this is acting. But personally I am finding it uncomfortable. I am not questioning others opinions and preferences I hope I'm extended the same courtesy of not having to explain my likes/discomfort. Peace out :)
