Shouldn't Thyme have at least a management college degree (Bachelor's if not master's) to run such a big Pharamanantha…
That's why i think the Chinese version choosing a university setting made more sense. They made the ML financially savvy and graduated business administration. But they do had to tone down the bullying part. It's kinda harder to bully college students.
Okay, first of all, thoroughly enjoy that especially after finding the last 3 eps quite boring.I saw comment about…
Agree. HYD has always been a show to watch if you want to turn your braincells off and feel, no over analyzing. I feel this version forgot that it's a romance genre and they dragged story lines that seemed unnecessary.
Bright and Ren acting ain't very good. Actually bad at times
Chinese modern dramas are probably an acquired taste :D. But I just read a comment saying Bright is a newbie actor and so we should give him a break. But most BOF adaptation, the actors at that time were newbie actors themselves. Bright has more acting experience before F4. I haven't watched the Taiwan version but those who have say the acting was good.
I so agree! I was afraid to mention this because it seems like a lot of people like the acting here, but my friends…
My favorite version is MG2018 so I'm probably bias but I can't help comparing Dylan Wang to Bright. Meteor Garden was Dylan's 1st acting job and he was 18 at that time but he did way better than Bright.
Favorite is MG2018, but if I can mix and match the actors and their story line: 1. Dylan Wang and Shen Yue (the actors, their chemistry on and off screen is amazing) 2. Ren and Mira or Hua Ze Lei and Jing 3. Kim Bum and Kim So Eun (the actors and story line but a better ending) 4. Nani Hirunkit Changkham (the actor and character) what if MJ and Gorya becomes the end game- super plot twist)
i'm sorry but hoo joon is such a terrible idol with zero stage presence and no facial expressions and his song…
true. I watched the Chinese version with Chanyeol and he fit the role very well IMO. Choi Tae Joon just didn't fit the character. I like the show though with the other characters so worth watching for me.
So in 1993, because of the storm, a clone of Yoo Hyun Jae was created which is Da Bong who was transported to 2017? Without knowing what happened, the real Yoo Hyun Jae went on with his life and met Bo Hee then had Ji Hoon but Hyun Jae still died in 1994. It means Da Bong isn't Ji Hoon's father, right? It's just weird that Da Bong likes the same girl Ji Hoon likes if they are father and son.
I love Xu Kai and Bai Lu together, I'm not rooting for this pair :P , but seriously, the lead actress doesn't have much facial expressions. I like the other supporting actresses more, they show more depth to their character.
This one is hard to rate. I really like it because the leads have great chemistry but the story is all over the place. This would have been better with great editing. Worth the watch though but rating it high would really be subjective in my opinion.
