For a romcom, it really has set a high standard. Its romcom romcomming. It unapologetically uses every kdrama cliche but made it feel fresh. It stayed a romcom all throughout the drama unlike other dramas that claim to be romcom, yet changes to melo. LR is a nostalgic drama that made me love kdrama in the 1st place.

A lot of people who like/love the drama don't write reviews, like me. The rating speaks for itself. If you go to other sites like douban and imdb, LR is rated high.

The people who don't like this drama, hates the actress, insults the viewers who love it, aren't you tired of what you are doing yet? You already had your spotlight moment after the show ended. Why do you keep coming back to this comment section? It seems like you are obsessed with this drama more than the most dedicated fans.

LR seems like the most successful fan promoted drama. Word of mouth and fan edits.
TVN sure saved a lot of money by not promoting it.

Same. I really hate the character myself. I can usually separate actor from character, but I'm having a hard time watching Liu Xue Yi other dramas.

Duoban and IMdB seems more reliable. Duoban is notorious for giving low scores. Hidden Love, which is a huge hit only scored 6.7. And Lovely Runner, last time i checked is 8.7. IMdB rating right now for LR is 8.9.
Plus, majority of those who love the drama don't even bother writing a review.

They could make a whole new drama of the making of Lovely Runner. It took 3 years of production, many actors refused SunJae role, change of director, minimal promotion, KHY agency issues, no product placements, was boycotted bec they thought it had similarities with idols committing suicide. Now I just read that KHY needed to go to the ER for IV bec of exhaustion. This underdog drama went through a lot.

I really really hope this one is better than Red Moon Pack. I love the cast here.

Majority of people didn't really expect much. This was basically a fan promoted romcom. I guess a lot of people miss the old fashion romcom like me. Try until ep 2, that's the ep that pretty much made most people continue watching.

Wow, 8.8 in douban. Impressive.

Zhao Lusi is chemistry queen like KHY, Dylan wang can sing, They would be a good pairing.

Speaking of hidden love, I saw a video of Zhao Lusi humming Spring Snow by10cm. If they make a Chinese version. Zhao Lusi would be perfect for the role.

I think the appeal of this drama is that you feel all emotions in every episode. it's tragedy one moment and then comedy with the next scene.
