Dunk has managed to do something miraculous and progress backwards with his acting talent to the point where it almost makes Joong look less terrible as well
Thank you, I thought I was the only one! Never got the appeal of Bad Buddy. Ohm and Nanon are decent, but I never…
A pet peeve of mine in any show is if the couple lose their chemistry as soon as they become an established couple. They were giving friendship chemistry. And the writers legit threw any story out the window here in lieu of an aimless fanfiction-esque series of events that only took place because the show needed to fit a full 12 episodes. It was a completely mind-numbing watch.
for something on the lighter side, the choice to turn nuea into an object mid-way falls back on really annoying tropes. two people fight over him, both kiss him without consent, one does the stupid "let's fake date but I actually like you so there's a selfish reason to it also you're kind of a trophy for me" and its a crazy mini-arc that they just expect u to move on from right after. as a writer you should decide whether or not you have respect for your protagonist, even if a show is short and you want to fit a dynamic plot in there are better ways to do it than this
Extremely shocked to find out Perth was only 17 in this show. This show is like BL scripture, and it was one of my firsts. Now looking back I'm uncomfortable having watched it. That locker scene was mega famous back then, I'm hoping in good faith that everyone who was drooling over it was oblivious to Perth's age. My mind tells me honestly that people probably just don't care.
If there are 0 NLMG fans left on earth then I have died. This show isnt a cinematic masterpiece, it gets over-the-top, corny, idealistic, and it has low-risk and low-stress conflict. For me, it's perfect. I went in with low expectations and ended up loving it. I also think it's funny that whenever a show wants to explore something toxic or taboo, it's "just fiction" but when a show like NLMG is unrealistic because the characters actually talk to each other and communicate their feelings it's suddenly a detriment to the quality of the project. I really dgaf if that's not how real people talk. Thank you NLMG for being idealistic and nice and healthy and good. I fucking love you.
I wish I was born with the ability to see this show as anything but an absolute train-wreck of crazy bad writing. The rest of you are so blessed. 8.4/10 is a mercy this show doesn't deserve.
The problem with 2gether The Series isn't so much the boring and entirely forgettable plot as much as it is the nonexistent chemistry between the two leads.
You could convince me that water and oil mix before you can convince me that Tine and Sarawat are in love. The first barrier to a believable performance is acting, something Bright seems incapable of delivering without his costars putting in double the effort. Even if you're able to get around Bright's two-dimensional acting, the glaring issue of Bright and Win as the two straightest dudes in the room is unavoidable. Every time I see someone praise this couple for "their chemistry" I have to wonder if I've entered an alternate BL universe where BrightWin weren't just cast for their good looking faces, and people actually truly believe in their hearts that this pairing passes as an on-screen couple.
I think the most frustrating part is the potential this show had. It has wide audience appeal as a sexless romance, and I love good sexless representation. 2gether isn't good sexless representation, it's there's-no-fucking-way-these-two-actors-would-ever-agree-to-intimate-scenes-anyway, let-the-straight-girls-be-happy-two-straight-men-touch-lips-a-few-times fanservice. Somehow this show allows the BL genre to spin in a useless circle back to fujo-food origins. Maybe you could say the side couple was more convincing, except they just bore you to tears so it doesn't even matter.
As a a pandemic easy-watch it was simple and harmless enough, the extreme popularity just makes it easier to criticize its flaws.
Overall, while I can't remember a single thing that happened in the show other than useless conflict-resolution and a tasteless running can-I-touch-your-boobs-joke, Win Metawin was an unoffensive-enough actor. I came to 2gether after first watching F4 Thailand and as a new actor he holds up well. As for Bright, I hope we never meet again.
What is a content? Is she making out with these actors? It don't seem like it.Kdrama had some age differences…
you'd like to think the parents are involved, but where there's a trend in the industry of allowing underage actors to take questionable roles maybe we should start considering that we shouldn't trust the judgement of the adults who are responsible for some of these kids
