Hometown cha cha is an example of a decently good drama with characters you can feel and then naturally drawn to them and care to know what happens next to them.

@Wookster85: So agreed with you on everything...what's up with all that granny earrings and tasteless outfits for a designer in the haute couture fashion industry. Ha Young Eun character supposed to be elegant and charmingly chic...and the french speaking is constipating...there's no organic feelings to the characters so far. And JKY deserves a better acting noona than this boring stuffy SKH.

I like the actors but the story is kinda slow...going up and down like a wave and then going no where...must be from a junior writer...dang

so agreed with you...just the fact that he's the ML for this passionate love story opposite such amazing Bai Lu, kinda burst my bubble, taking out all the fun and excitement because you know that he's not gonna deliver it as expected. This series becomes quite boring to me with all the constipating love scenes...Over rated drama after all!

I want to start Sweet Teeth...I did watch few episodes of LIS, the chemistry is lovely (always like Bailu) and their skinship is so real but the story kinda meh for me so i never finish it. Now i'm trying to finish my girlfriend is an alien even though it's quite annoyingly trope-yish and the not so solid plot makes me miss Crush like an addict missing his drug...hehe (is there a Crush rehab?)

Yay! you finished it...i keep going back and rewatch...I miss their togetherness especially before his eyes surgery...he delivered his role so beautifully convincing...he deserves an award for new actor of the year big time.
You are right about the other series of WanPeng...very tropey...ish but surprisingly a second season is coming. What are you watching now? any recommendation?

Amazing that you could hold out...opposite to me no discipline at all...i was in agony waiting for the last 2 episodes...to me the ending didn't feel rushed but the pace was a bit faster...and it tried to wrap up on a few issues like her fragile mentality of not letting go of ChengYi and touchingly of how now it's his turn of taking care of her...of how they learned to tolerate each other imperfectness...and more...may be it is not as solid as the first half but still if you already felt in love with their coupleness, you will be enjoying very much the last half as well. lmk how you feel after watching the last 2.

Now that you pointed out...i got to go back and rewatch those scenes with much more appreciation of how they take care of each other ( like she dealt with his issue then and now it's his turn to take care of her...loving it...actually i need to rewatch Crush in its entirety...hehe

Lin Yanjun for sure nailed his Su Nian Qin beautifully and Wang Peng disappeared into her role so effortlessly natural. Absolutely love them! Could not imagine any one else for these 2 characters. But kudos to the Female Director Yu Cui Hua (who directed Eternal Love)! Thanks to her sensibility of a woman, the multilayer story got brought to screen with such exquisite and touching details...It's been almost a week and I still can't let go and keep coming back and rewatch.

That is so true...even though it was super affectionate already with their hugging, eskimo kisses...but wish she could be acting more responsive in that department ... somehow I do think that she chose to have close lips, not to be too intimate with her costar...i'm curious to know if she has talked with Lin Yanjun and the director of how far they would go in love scene.

Me too, just finished second time rewatch...and still want to go for 1 more time...haha

Does anyone know where I can watch epi 19-24 with english sub? This drama is so addictive with their intense love for each other and the pairing of Wan Peng and Yanjun is so genius...their acting is very natural and organic that you can feel their deep longing of one another...amazing !!!
