To go to the borderlands, which is the area between life and death, the participants would have to be in a state…
True! That would have taken too much time. They even left out the games that Kyuuma and his group partook in. They also left out Kyuuma's father's death and his reaction to it which actually explains Kyuuma's ideals and why he wants to live his life to the fullest. Also, as I stated it would be the driver expressing regret, not the group blaming him. Especially, towards the end when everyone knew they lost and were having a final heart-to-heart. However, none of that happened which leads me to believe that none of them felt they had anything to do with their death.
huh there is s3? does it follow the joker card that appear at the end of s2?
Most probably! If it's an s3 it will mostly be against the joker which is not covered in the manga. Otherwise, we are looking at a movie with Arisu returning to the borderlands. We'll know if the rumours are true after the official announcement.

Yes! Not necessarily fighting for their lives; they could be dead too as was the case of Arisu whose heart stopped for a whole minute. All the game masters previously died in the real world and entered the borderlands as participants. They beat the game and chose to become citizens of the borderlands to help the Joker run the games, thus forfeiting their lives in the real world. So Mira was already dead in the real world, to begin with. Since Arisu and the others refused citizenship, they were sent back to the real world.

Possible! However, they never really explained how they all died in the manga either. And if it was the fault of one of them, the driver would have expressed regret or something.
The only thing that is not clear to me is how Kyuma and the other game master supposedly died in the real world.…
To go to the borderlands, which is the area between life and death, the participants would have to be in a state where they are fighting for their life. So, it need not be that meteor. It can be any accident that is life-threatening like a car accident, getting stabbed, etc. Kyuma and the others all died and that is how they entered the borderlands. They were once players too and beat the game and chose to stay in the borderlands as citizens, thus forfeiting their lives in the physical world.
In the manga, the joker card represents a dark silhouette of a man Arisu meets after beating the Queen of hearts.…
Haha yeah! The spinoff is mainly just Arisu and a little bit of Usagi. The rest are new people playing a single game. But the others only come back when Arisu has minor flashbacks. Also, Ann is alive in s2.

Haha true! I can see s3 starting out with Arisu and Usagi getting married and everything going dandy until Arisu wakes up in the Borderlands again and then... we'll just have to wait for s3 😂
i’ve finished this but can someone explain to me clearly? so the game wasn’t real? karube and chota died from…
The games are real to the participants. Everyone who participated in the game are actually fighting for their survival in the land between the living and the death (the borderlands). Those who survived the game and declined, are sent back to the world of the living. The rest stay behind and help the Joker run the trials of life and death.
For all those interested there is a sequel to the original Alice in Borderlands 2 manga. So possibly an s3. And yes, Arisu goes to the borderlands the only way we know how. P.S. I was unaware of the sequel manga and in some comments, I stated that s3 would be improbable. I stand corrected after being made aware of the sequel and also sources implying that Netflix has already started working on s3 ( like months prior to the release of s2)
