i'm so confused about the joker card at the end lol
In the manga, the joker card represents a dark silhouette of a man Arisu meets after beating the Queen of hearts. He asks Arisu if he considers him a God or a Devil. Arisu replies, neither and says he's the intermediator between the living and the dead. A depiction is then shown of a ferryman ferrying souls across a river. This indicates that the joker signifies Charon, the ferryman who transports the souls of the dead across the river Styx ( the Sanzu river here). In ancient Greece and Rome, the dead had coins on their eyes or mouth meant as a fee to the ferryman for the journey across the river Styx. However, the dead who could not pay the fee and those who had received no funeral rites had to wander the shores of the river(borderlands) for 100 years before being allowed to cross over. So, putting it all together, the people caught in the blast radius of the meteor were stuck between life and death (the borderlands), and only those who survived in the game(and declined) returned to the physical world.
Really? This season seemed lacklustre to season1. Season 1 captured the essence of the chaos and their search for answers and will to survive really well.
It should be much lower to be honest. It did have it's moments but it was subpar to season 1. Also, the manga…
Perhaps! There was nothing nail-biting nor suspenseful about this season. The episodes felt so bland. The last two episodes were the only highlights of this season. Also, you would feel the same way if you do complete the manga. Had no complains of season 1. This season was just lacklustre.
8.6 ? Come on guys this atleast deserves 8.9 if season one is rated 8.8👍🏻 Those who are still contemplating…

It's average. Unless you like over the top stuff and things just happening randomly so that it can fit the narrative. For example, a director of the hotel just magically appearing from under the stairs to put the GM's chase after a suspect to a halt. Rating should have been much lower.
This drama isn't really upto the mark with respect to all the other good dramas that are there right now. Incidents and people randomly just pop out forcefully, to fit the narrative rather than making it seem organic.
This drama is really good! The acting, the story and premise so far (episode 10) is really refreshing and attention-grabbing. I was in a state where I wanted to watch a drama that would pique my interest within the first 10 minutes - many failed but this didn't. If you're looking for the same, this will cure your boredom.

Edit: A better explanation and better writing 😂
