Lee Byung Hun/Lee Dong Seok carried the whole show!! The other actors were good too
The story is focused on female characters and actresses have more exciting roles to play. We watch women of all ages on the screen, six years granddaughter, school girl, young women, mother, spinster and old henyo who dive in the ocean. lee Byung Hun is great, sure, but women performances are the heart of this show.
I can't believe this masterpiece really exist! I'm emotionally devastated, I was crying during twenty hours of watching. For once netflix has something good. Writer-nim, you are my goddess! I love you. 'Dear My Friends' is on my list to watch for a while and it will be my next drama. If someone is looking for some touching and warm drama I recommend "Thank You" (2007).
I wasn't sure about Lee Jong Suk acting skills, because none of his drama performance was impressive, maybe except for some scenes in "Doctor Stranger". But here he is pretty good, I must admit. So far the characters are well played, he is childish and funny and she is energetic and concrete. Suppose, since it's a thriller they will have to change their nature in the future.
The story is beautiful, and the characters are well played, especially the kids. It's a kind of family-youth-school drama with math. And fantasy with parallel worlds. My rating is 10/10!
đ i think her hair looks annoying..And yeah lack a bit chemistry compared to child actress
The story and depth of characters are just perfect but the adult female lead is lacking something. The young actress -Wang Sheng Di - her play is solid and confident but every time I watch Zhang Zifeng I feel uncertain and distracted. Well, maybe it's intended for the later character's mental change. We'll see. But I could watch the kids' version of the whole drama.
Detective Han - she is still stupid. It's constant. Can anyone tell me what the hypnosis is for since the face of the killer is already revealed? Where is the logic? The ep 9 is just meh.
The plot is dull, very simple and flat. As for the action film, the story goes slowly. The characters' emotions are weird and it's impossible to connect with them and immerse them in the presented world. Scenes are overdone and sometimes it's grotesque. It's a non-scary horror for the summertime. Since the cast is not so bad I think the script is poor. And the dialogues... What are they talking about??? It would be better for protagonists to do their job (mostly killing) and say nothing.
It's a melodrama about people after divorce and that's why the drama is for older viewers. The cast is perfect…
Yeah, the open ending may be the western style of scenario where all stories go nowhere. The short format of this drama is perfect and I wish the ending was definitive.
So how is it? Shall i watch it or not?Don't say its up to me, if its rubbish then i don't want to waste my time…
It's a melodrama about people after divorce and that's why the drama is for older viewers. The cast is perfect and directing, filming is superb. If you like something serious to watch - I recommend it.
I need Kang Young Seok to come back on the screen to make this show! He is a real star here. And the plot twist was really good. The chemistry between male leads is just crazy.
The real star of this drama is Kang Young Seok and his 'Dean' of gamblers is amazing played! Maybe because of him, Kang Ha Neul's performance seems to be a bit heavy. The drama is excellent although dark and bloody. Not for everyone. If you are looking for something entertaining - it's not the place.
Hello!!! How's the drama so far? I'm not that much into sports-themed dramas but I liked Run On! Do they have…
Not at all. It's a bit heavy and depressing. There is not much fun and the story is not light. Maybe because of the leads, of their acting or because of the general concept of drama. Even the scenes together (of her and him) are depressed, serious and grey. But good scenes are when they play on the court. I don't know if anything will change in the next episodes...
