For those that have read the novel, is the story focused on mostly Yi Shui and Ranran? Will Qingge come back at the end or something?

I love Yi Shui and Qingge but I'm bored with Yi Shui and Ranran. Not sure how I'll manage to 40 eps.

SO dirty T.T My boy was orphaned, the King's whipping boy, had a psycho brat control his every move, then the one thing he had going for him, the love of his life was taken away by an enemy general. Oh and then he died T.T The writers did not give him a break!

OMG, red flag MLs are spicy for dramas, I get that, but fuck the abuse. I swoon over good men that treat women well. Scent of Time is the perfect example of this statement. Lots of other green flag ML dramas but to name some:

Yaasss, Qiluo in the drama was so well written like I totes understood why Xuan Lie fell hard for her! In the novel however, she was 100% a damsel so it seemed Yelu Lie was moreso driven by lust.

I loved Ashile Sun but despite Xuan Lie being a simp, I still found it sweet because I can't with the typical cold ML. Give me all the green flags and simps, all day every day. I eat that ish up nom nom >;P

Yelu Lie was incredibly violent which absolutely matches the barbarian character but that doesn't mean I'd want to read/watch that ish. I thought Xuan Lie was too soft for a Beixuan general, but hell I'd take a simp over a brute any day.

He was always the simp for her in both regions. He only became extra clingy because she kept pushing him away after he done messed up.

I agree the FL got a lot of hate when I think she did good under the circumstances. I ship the leads but a lot of people seem to miss the fact that the ML is pretty selfish and overbearing. Guess lots of folks are dickimatized...
