This exchange is one of my top romantic moments between TTJ and LSS. TTJ being hardened by his miserable existence is skeptical about LSS's generosity. But when he sees her sadness about the bleakness of the world, he tries to ease her sadness by acknowledging what she did right. He really had started to care for her at this point......🥹

But it's because of LSS that he gets to perform the Sketch Charm perfectly, proving his pure heart. (and I'm still annoyed that LSS was asleep when it happened😑.)

I really wonder at LSS choosing to teach TTJ Sketch Charm... Is she sounding him out if he's going to be evil, or is she confirming if he's simply a mortal without any hope of becoming immortal?
