It's really established that they love each other so early.... that's probably the reason why we couldn't feel anything about them both later on in the episodes.
(That and they really didn't have any fireworks chemistry with each other unlike our main couple.)

HAHA spotted an editing error... When YXW and TTJ were falling, and there was a close up of YXW , you could see behind her that TTJ's hand was raised for the dispelling the crows scene (see the red hand cuff at the back of YXW's head)... but at the next cut, they were still falling, and TTJ has his arms on his sides. Then there's YXW's close up again, and again you could see TTJ's hand still raised.

One of the things I'd have really wanted to see here is a love polygon between YXW, TTJ, XL and YBC. But it's just episode 5 tho, and the love polygon was already cleanly cut. XL totally pushing YXW away, YXW setting boundaries, XL and YBC declaring their love for each other (in an overly dramatic way, with that tragic bgm which was totally unnecessary.).
Okay, given that there's going to be too much drama between our main couple anyway to leave no room for a love polygon to happen, why couldn't they at least retain a more weighty reason for TTJ to be obsessively jealous of XL for YXW's love? That way, porridgegate and =spoiler🤡= XL's eventual death might just make more sense. (like "I'll control you so you can kill your love yourself"-kind of jealousy, more in line with the novel plot) ....but I realize that they left it to 29secs to try to create that friction between YXW and TTJ, which sadly didn't happen (coz. 0 chemistry.)
