Merry Christmas dear Moonies, I hope you've all been wellπ This year's brought us a lot of goodies But TTEOTM's the first to ring a bell.
In April we have gathered (Some earlier, some later, of course) To watch an epic drama A marvelous creation anyone can boast
Usually, it's one and done, Time well spent, then we move on But strangely yet adorably We bonded beyond the episode end
We talk about Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu Foxy Sun Zhenni and Eddy Deng Wei glowed up a lot since then And other things besides.
Had our share of bugs and roaches Good thing repellant's always on hand With kind words and just good vibes We keep our community clear of SPAM
It's been eight months since, we still remain A community vibrant, full of love I hope we keep this beautiful friendship Till the end of the moon and back againπ
Peace, hope, and love to us all, Moonies, new and oldπππππππππ

I hate that this year didn't give us enough time to watch all of the brilliant dramas that released this year, like they all dropped BAM! BAM! BAM!π€£π€£π€£I've never had a watchlist THIS long in my history of watching dramasπ€£ please 2024 be good and let us watch our pile of dramas to be watched. No? Ok, bring them all on!!!π€£π€£π€£

28. Ditto with Micha. I can easily plow through a 16-20 episode (at more than 1 hour each) kdrama, but I find myself slacking a quarter of a way through the 40 episode (with less than an hour) cdrama, because kdramas simply are more tightly paced, their plots are more or less solid, most loopholes would be closed at the end of the drama, and viewers would learn more about culture, medicine, law, politics, or whatever the drama's theme is based on aside from the romance, which I think cdramas tend to focus more of (from the little I've watched, of course. I don't pretend to be an expert and a critic, unlike ChunTian's favorite auntyπ€£π€£ these are just my thoughts as a casual cdrama viewer)
I've started to love cdramas because of LYX and TTEOTM, but I wish they offered more than just romanceπ

26. π π π I have to ditto with you Micha. Much as I loved LYX in LIP, and it was refreshing to see him act with someone else other than BL, and ZRN was refreshing in her own right, the plot of that drama was kinda all over the place. I was startled at that first episode, but I had such high hopes with the drama showing the research side of medicine (coz HOUSE placed such a high bar on medical dramas for me)........... but.... well. It kinda was lacking for me. I wanted more.

23. So far, TTEOTM.π€£π€£π€£ The only 40-eps drama I've ever completed this 2023. I'm still new to committing to cdramasπ
Runner ups are: LBFAD and Love is Sweet at 36eps, and Love Is Panacea at 34eps, but those are the only cdramas I've completed so far...π and guess why I was able to complete themπ π€£
Yes!! Will never tire of providing optimum entertainment in place of the never-ending therapy that YouKu will forever owe us!!π€£π€£π€£

I absolutely love costume cdramas for the mythology and the mystical quality they have. I think cdramas shine more in costume than modern.
29. LYX's dramas. Hahaha. What else? If they'd drop Immortality anytime in 2024, then all the betterπ€£π€‘

Pass.π€£
It kinda was lacking for me. I wanted more.
And I have finished it already so there.
Seriously. That romance was played brilliantly by LYX and BL, of course, and they live happily ever after rent-free in my mind.πππ
I love MY and SJ as well, their story being tragic as it is.
First Love (9 eps) and Why Didn't I Tell You A Million Times (10) are the shortest dramas I've watched this 2023!!!
