Awwww. 🫂 hang in there. Yesh, as mentioned, she would have wanted to believe he could be good, but the evil bone in him would have eventually corrupted him despite what he is now. His goodness and of course her growing love for him were unfortunately not a risk she could take against the future destruction she knew he would cause and wanted to prevent. I know she isn't likeable now, but she really is on a singleminded mission to destroy the Devil God and stop her past from happening, and she won't let personal feelings get in the way. (She did have one moment of wavering, however, during the festival). Novel LSS was much more determined and singleminded than drama LSS, much like novel TTJ is more ruthless than drama TTJ. TTJ does deserve better🥺😭

Actually YQY is different in the novel. He's not even called as Ye Qing Yu. Tho his storyline in the novel is similar (falls in love with a seven tailed fox, gets said fox's remaining power when she dies), he doesn't get to be ruler of Jing after... It's only in the drama that it is implied that he became jing ruler. If only the episodes were longer, we could have had an explanation. Alas........ There were some leaks about cut scenes involving LSS and CJM visiting YQY but......well, it's cut.😅
